The room, but keycard wasn't working so couldn't go anywhere as we'd have to leave our room unlocked so we could get back into our room. Manager was great opening the door with her master keycard but she couldn't get another keycard till the morning staff came on shift

To arrive way before checked in time but you were allowed to go in, was so helpful.
No millions of questions-was just straight forward procedures, save time and make you feel trustworthy.
Food at the bar was huge and lovely.
Had coffee at Chez Beanz and was awesome.
Small friendly town with beautiful people.
For a day stopover I fine the Tuakau hotel serves its purpose. that everything was a walking distance to meet what you need. Staff are friendly and service that I cannot fault. The locals were friendly . Food was excellently. It a blessing, a place not far from the city.
I would not hesitate to come there again just to get out of the busy life of the city. to be able to relax and enjoy the quite and clean environment.
I love the fact that we didnt even have to go outside to the restaurant. It was joined to the hotel, internal access. My husband and I had a lovely evening and even won on the pokies. A lovely birthday treat.
A very modernized 'classic hotel' in quiet Tuakau but only a short drive to Pukekohe. Very comfortable, clean, with inhouse bar & restaurant or local main street F&B to chose from.
Great location and facilities, particularly the kitchenette in our apartment. Beds super comfy. Very bright lights outside shining up to the hotel frontage - blinds good.
Great location for where we were going. Stayed in newer part of hotel which has been seamlessly added using the same lovely historic design. Comfortable spacious room.
