Spectacular views!! Literally so close to the beachfront that when you open the doors you can hear the gentle waves lapping on the shore - amazing!! I also arrived about an hour earlier than anticipated but as the room was ready allowed me to check in sooner. The staff were so attentive and helpful with a few of my request which was great!!

Great to take the hole in the rock boat trip. Very convenient to catch the boat and hope over to Russell for a day trip. Lovely meal and walk at the wineyard in Russell. Lovely time to visit Pahia when it is sunny. Beautiful to spend 4 to 7 days chilling with the perfect sunset and sunrise. The indian restaurant along the beach at pahia is very authentic. Highly recommend pahia roadtrip.

Paihia is a very good place to stay if you want to explore...
Paihia is a very good place to stay if you want to explore Northland. If you are driving, you can go on your own to the tip of the North Island in about 3 hours. You can drive over to the Kauri Forest on the west side in about 1.5 hours. You can get tours out of Paihia for the Bay of Islands, the Ninety Mile Beach/Cape Reinga, Waitangi Treaty Grounds (you can walk there, about 3 km), rent kayaks or paddle boards, get fishing charters, take a ferry to Russell (or drive there). We spent 5 nights there and could have stayed a few more days and done even more.

Paihia is such a beautiful part of New Zealand!
Paihia is such a beautiful part of New Zealand! As the gateway to the Bay of Islands, there is so much to see and do here. There are some incredible restaurants to eat at and my husband highly recommends the Waitangi Golf Club just 5 minutes from Paihia. Definitely add the Bay of Islands to your list of places to visit in the North Island of NZ!

Great town with friendly locals.
Great town with friendly locals. All hospitality options covered, with a bar on a jetty that is very pleasant but always seemed short staffed. Easy walking town and a jetty to Russell with happy staff to greet you.
Visited Pompallier House in Russell which is well worth the visit and again met with lovely friendly greeting and service.

Walking distance to everything you need.
Walking distance to everything you need. Swimming pool is lovely ,but don't forget to bring beach towels. No fresh towel service ,but has washing machine. The two bedrooms are lovely and bonus 2 bathrooms. Great place to stay, will stay again.
The place was so clean. The views from our extra large balcony were absolutely spectacular. The place was roomy and very comfortable. The hosts Theo and Sopha were extra friendly and helpful, going so far as to drive us into town a couple of times. They were so accommodating in every way without being intrusive. It was a short walk to town that you could walk along the beach unless it was high tide, when you must go around on the main road. It was a steep vigorous climb either way, but we appreciated the exercise.
I would recommend the Pacific resort hotel Paihia to anybody. we had a group of 24 stay 11 of them kiddies under 7 for my mums 50th we didn’t feel any uncomfort as we were a bit loud and all. reception were so accommodating and cool with us ! the pool and spa were amazing despite the rain the rooms were amazing and value for money. big shout out to the cleaners who come in everyday if we needed :) and also kept our console safe as I forgot it in my room for about 3hrs 100/10 from our group.
clean tidy and close to all amenities say 5 minute drive from Paihia
Chris and Michael are awesome host we stayed for 3 nights and it was a lovely 🥰 time of our life
the backdrop is breath taking and the hosts are knowledgeable and informative
can not thank the host enough
will definitely return again in future
loved the place hospitality and the kindness
thanks a lot Michael and Chris will see you in future
Great all-round accommodation and value for money for a family. Great balcony with afternoon shade and spectacular view. Well located especially if you don't mind walking a bit, being an easy 10 min walk down the hill to the beach and 15 mins to Paihia wharf. A bit of energy required to get home up the hill but not a problem for those physically able and up for a bit of exercise.
Room was lovelyband spacious.
Had all the amenities, even though we were on the main road you couldn't hear traffic unless you went out onto the deck.
Amazing view,
Receptionist an Manager were lovely an helpful, I've stayed in most Motel/ Hotels in Paihia an been a cleaner there with 20+ years experience.
I would definitely stay here again in the future,.
Friendly owner who was very helpful and kind. The location was fantastic.. couldn't be better. Excellent parking. We had an older but perfectly functional room. Short walk to anywhere in town (eg. 5 mins to wharf, restaurants, shops). Great option for anyone visiting Paihia to enjoy the gorgeous Bay of Islands. The Bounty Motel is good value for money.
The bed was great, and the location room was nice and quiet with a pleasent outlook over the inlet.. This is a convenient location for Paihia and they provide a free shuttle service to and from town.
The pool complex and a nice tropical look, the spa pool was nice and hot.
Spacious nice appartment in quiet area. Possibility of cooking including stovetop. New Hot tub with warm water ready for bath immediately after our arrival with impressive view over Bay of Islands. Possibility for checkin around 8pm. Good place to stay for a week.
Location was perfect for our stay with variety of restaurants close by. Paihia pier five minute walk and Waitangi Treaty Ground within walking distance. The view from the apartment was to die for directly facing bay of islands, included was your own garden patio.
We had four generous, delicious breakfasts served promptly at 08:30 to our wee patio by Trevor. We utilized the complimentary laundry; much appreciated.
The location is very good as it is as the bend in the road as Seaview becomes Marsden Road entering Paihia.
Delightfully cozy, really clean and well maintained. Lots of thoughtful extras, great vibe, spacious and even a friendly cat. Short walk to swimming beach, helpful staff, overall great value.
The location of the hotel is great, close to the beach and other amentities. Nice to have room to move in a two bedroom and upstairs kitchen and lounge area. Shower pressure was good!
The staff is friendly and helpful. The room is big and the breakfast is good. We parked our car in the hotel, it's the convenience distance to walk to the Paihia wharf.
Loved everything! The fact that my family of 5 could all stay in the same room was a perfect, other motels/hotels I looked at I would have had to book 2 separate rooms.
