Emanuele and Alba were magnificent hosts. Through google translate, we were able to communicate and share some laughs. The apartment is in a house that Emanuele’s grandparents owned so there’s a lot of history here! There’s plenty of old Italian charm but the kitchen/bathroom fixtures are modern. There is a huge patio off the kitchen that overlooks the valley. The location is in the middle of a really charming old village, and fun to walk around in for those who have good mobility. The neighbors are friendly. In 3 trips to Italy, this is the most truly old-world Italian stay we’ve had.

Italy just keep getting better and better. We traveled from the northern areas headed to south and every stop had its unique experience. This place stand alon.
We booked this place as stop to continue our travel. Once we entered the countryside we were amazed by the beauty of the landscape and the peacefulness of the nature. The hosts are the most kind persons you will ever meet they welcomed us with joy and kindness you feel like it’s your home. The view in front of the house is incredible simply it like heaven my only regret is we stayed for one night.
If you are looking for real countryside experience then this is the place. The rooms are very comfortable and the facilities there are remarkable the hosts are very helpful they will guide you to explore the area and help you reserve nearby by restaurants which is by way really good restaurants for such urban area.

Absolutely loved my stay at il colle! The view is amazing, the staff was super sweet and helpful, the room is very comfy. We had the dinner offered by the restaurant at the hotel, it was AMAZING and very filling (several appetizers, two pasta dishes, a meat plate, dessert, and drinks). I am vegetarian and they also accommodated my request and made the dinner fully vegetarian and very very tasty. The room was super nice, clean, and spacious. The staff was very friendly and always around when needed, we also got to meet the owner who gave us each a croissant for the road. The breakfast was also very nice, with a mix of sweet and savory options, also vegetarian friendly. The animals at the location were very well taken care of and also friendly. The hotel is easy to access and locate, with a good amount of parking. Overall, I super recommend this hotel and loved my stay :)
