The room size is big and breakfast is about 90% sweet pastry so good for kids.

They are simply fantastic these guys! Very friendly stuff, they even have made a surprise for the birthday of my father (it was so sweet of you, guys, really) and the Sea Is exceptional! I've traveled after to Catania, Siracusa, Palermo and Taormina and never have found the sea like this!

Sand beach, free next to the water. Wonderful view from the beach. We tried trattoria "L'angolo di Mondello Trattoria da Franco" on Piazza Mondello and "Alle Terrazze". The first one (Franco) is a family-driven local, traditional place, the second one is a first-class restaurant with a very high standard, with excellent panorama view.

Very friendly and hospitable host - Roberta. Fab breakfast, home baked cakes every morning with a huge choice of goodies incl eggs anyway you like i.e. poached, scrambled, omelet's etc. Quiet location but within a very short walk to the beach and a 10 minute walk to the centre ... The room was lovely, very clean and spacious with a great balcony, the air-con was wonderful too ...

Beautiful scenery, close to Palermo, sandy beaches and few local restaurants. We were out of season so I am sure it's more buzzing during the summer. There was a great restaurant with fresh sea food just across the Art Hotel.

Mondello has all the capabilty to be a first-rate tourist destination: the sandy beach, the transparent clear water, the landscape, the old villas. I just can't understand why they can't keep the streets clean to match the natural environment. The rubbish almost ruins everything.

Mondello is a lovely little town with some good restaurants and a beautiful beach! It is only a 30 min bus ride away from Palermo and the busses are cheap and easy to navigate. It is not a party town, but was perfect for us as the beach was a 5 minute walk away as were many nice cafes and restaurants. We walked out to Capo Gallo, which was really beautiful and great to be able to jump into the ocean for a quick cooling down.SigrúnUnited Kingdom - 8.0Scored 8.0
Palermo and the surroundings are dirty - you have to get...
Palermo and the surroundings are dirty - you have to get used to it. However staying in Mondello is much better than staying in Palermo center. Mondello beach is sandy and nice, the beach is clean. There are lots of restaurants and you can find all services you need in the nearby (supermarket, laundry...etc.) There is a bus going to Palermo center (nr 806).

Moreover, the host booked a taxi for us, which was very helpful! We also got some recommendations were to eat. The apartment is located around 15 mins to Mondello beach by foot, there are also some buses around so you can get to center of Palermo [we were travelling with one change]. That was the best place I ever stayed in vacation when it comes to cleanness and all amenities.BeataPoland

We had spent 3.5 weeks traveling around Sicily and was our first ground floor accommodation and we really enjoyed spending time in the gorgeous space outside. Comfortable beds, pillows and couches, it had everything we needed. Angela and her team go above and beyond to make sure you’re happy and looked after. Nothing was too much trouble, they assisted us with everything from providing exceptional service at the hotel to booking taxis and and tables at the restaurants. We loved every minute at Domia and would definitely return!

We very much enjoyed our stay.
