The hotel was beautiful and our room was so cozy. There is a great dining room where you can sit and get drinks at night or eat breakfast in the morning. The view is amazing! The staff was also extremely friendly. The property also had a bus that came by around every hour to take you to the center of town if you didn’t feel like walking. It was 3 Euro. This was very helpful when we had luggage!

The location, staff, and breakfast were all incredible! Right next to the bus stop and just a couple minutes walk to the ferry made it extremely easy to get around.

Located in Varenna and only 3 minutes on foot from Lake Como, Hotel Montecodeno is very close to a ferry boat stop. It offers free WiFi and rooms with views of the garden and mountains.

We needed a room for 3, it was small with 3 beds but spotless and had everything we needed. Bathroom/shower was larger than others we had on the trip. I was a little concerned from other reviews but we had a great stay here. No view but Varenna is tiny and views are easy to get, you don't want to stay in your room! We had a nice courtyard right outside our door by a trail that winds above the town. And it's close to the train station. Breakfast was lovely, the facilities are in great condition. We also were worried about the wifi, my son had a job interview while we were there. The room had a small desk and good light, and the wifi was fine for him.

A very relaxing atmosphere with an amazing view overlooking the mountains with lots of birds in the air and amazing people. Mainly because the access to everything was very easy and the food is simply excellent, I have no words.
