Charming old abbaye located above Alba with the wine fields behind. Nice view over town with the alps behind from the park in front of the buildings. Modern, recently renovated room. I did have dinner(set menu) which was well worth the price. Breakfast buffe italian style with unfortetunely only sweet food.
Gated safe parking.

It is a converted seminary (school for training priests) - you will be staying in an austere former student room - so don't expect space or luxury. For me everything was fine - especially the low price and the location (quiet square, close to the town centre, but close enough to the edge of town I could go for an evening jog in countryside).

Friendly hosts, simple clean accommodation with own entrance. Very good breakfast.
Liked the wineries and restaurants in the area. Had a tasting of hazelnut products in town.
Would have like more time to do the underground Alba tour of the Roman remains of the old town.
Would loved to have done a tour of the Ferrero factory but that is not an option. Loved that the smell of Nutella was in the air as soon as we got out of the car in the carparks outside of the pedestrian centre,

Beautiful city!
Beautiful city! We did the Alba underground tour to explore the roman and medieval ruins. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and emerged us into the ancient history of Alba. The truffle festival was the an excellent peak: amazing food and wine!

Visited during the excitement of the international white truffle fair and Alba was full of life and culture! The food and wine we had here was the best we had in all of Italy. Do not miss Alba if you’re looking for authentic Italy.

If You visit it during Truffle fair, You can enjoy the markets and seasonal truffle dishes everywhere ! For beer lovers there is also craft brewery. Thanks to central location in the area, Alba is ideal base for wine trips, bike trips, etc.

I have traveled all over Italy and Piedmont especially Alba is a real gem. This was my fourth time to the Alba area and while it had been 9 years since my last stay little had changed except it got better! Alba and its people are charming, elegant, friendly, welcoming with beautifully preserved buildings, streets and shops. The surrounding hill towns for 50 plus kilometres all around are full of beautiful sites, people, wine and food. The history of Alba and Piedmont in general is very interesting particularly for its role in Italian confederation in 1862. It is so much better priced than other more popular tourist destinations in Italy. On top of that the scenery in the Langhe region is stunning and breathtakingly beautiful. The regional food is as good as it gets and the red wine is very affordable and the best in Italy for our tastes. I highly recommend to everyone to visit this under appreciated part of Italy as often as you can. I WILL be back!!
been on long roads trip through France and Italy and this was by favourite hotel. Staff superb, friendly and helpful. Room was v comfortable, lovely decor and good bathroom. If I was being really picky I would've preferred tea and coffee facilities but this was more than compensated for by a fantastic breakfast full of locally sourced products. I wish now I had eaten in the restaurant the night before. Superb. Highly recommended
Fantastic location, free parking, great apartment. We found a little bakery Gustomade literally two minutes from the apartment and never had better freshly baked goods- so we went there every morning! The hosts are so welcoming you feel like you are visiting family , the facilities are superb- a lift to go up to the apartment and we felt very safe and secure. Would definitely stay again if back in Alba.
Fausto and Carletta were perfect hosts. They provide considered recommendations for local restaurants and site to visit. The rooms were modern and comfortable. Breakfast was a scrumptious continental with local bakery, cheeses and meats. The farmhouse was situated in a central location for touring Alba and the key wine regions of Barolo and Barbaresco. Everything was 15-20 minutes in either direction.
Very spacious and has a very nice balcony and terrace. It has a designated covered parking space. What's more, it is only 10-min walking distance from Alba city center. But above all... The host is excellent! I forgot something in the apartment after the check-out and he went the extra mile to find it and return it back to me the next day. Very pleasent experience, highly recommended!
This comfortable apartment was hosted by a thoughtful and charming couple: Mary & Roberto. They were attentive to details and provided terrific personal support during our 3-day stay in Alba. Perfectly located in the direct center of town, we could walk a few blocks to favorite sights, restaurants, cafes and shopping. Our thanks to our hosts for a very pleasant stay.
Thanks to Rino, the owner, we had a blast. Our stay was perfect. Hotel’s location is great, 10mn walk from the city center. Room is clean and tidy. And Rino gives you great advise on your stay. Thanks to him we went to monforte d’Alba to taste some wine in Marina’s enoteca : Monvino. Amazing experience !! Thank you you both for amazing memories of this stunning area!
The location was fantastic. Can walk all around Alba from here! Secured parking on site for 12€ a day was super worth it. There was even a car charger. The apt had a nice terrace on the roof and a covered porch off of the kitchen. The kitchen itself was modern and the beds comfortable.
The "hotel" is in a convenient central location but there's no parking provided and it's difficult to find parking in Alba. The room was large and attractive. Breakfast was just okay and was always the same. We did have dinner at the restaurant one night and it was excellent.
This is an incredible condo in the perfect spot with ALL of the necessities (and more). The condo has amazing views of Alba and the host was very detailed which was helpful parking and getting Into the condo. This is right in the heart of Alba walking distance to everything.
We loved our stay at this B&B just outside the city of Alba. The staff was very welcoming, the property is lovely with a nice patio, our room was spacious and comfortable (with good AC!), and the excellent homemade breakfast was the icing on the cake.
Simple accomodation in church dormitory. Very central location in Alba, with parking. All restaurants, bars, bakeries, shops in walking distance. Helpful staff. Room was clean, bed comfortable. No sound isolation, so better to use earplugs.
Perfect location. Private parking is a great added value. Very friendly staff. Big room size. All the small necessities of a modern stars hotel.
Breakfast buffet is not big but every product is good quality and extremely tasty.
Very good place for staying in Alba. Good value for money and very hospitable and friendly host)
You’ll need just a five minutes to get Truffle fair in the center of Alba as well as a free parking close to apartments.
Nice stay in Langhe hotel near Alba and close to some of the most beautiful villages in Italy.
Family owned hotel, good service, nice breakfast, and confortable rooms.
Thank you for a nice stay at your hotel!
The apartment was the best equipped of any on our 5 week trip. The owner bent over backwards to help us. The location was perfect for exploring Alba. Parking was easy to find and reasonable.
Great hotel in a very good location. Close to the city center of Alba and close to the nearby wine country. Very good service and friendly and helpful staff. We will come back.
The property was large and clean and it was very close to the station. The owner was so kind. We could enjoy the truffles festival in Alba thanks to this property.
Beautiful and clean apartment. Location is perfect, at center of Alba. Reach White Truffle fair in 3 mins. Owner is very nice and helpful. Highly recommended.
