Friendliness and availability of the staff, Irakli was always very flexible and helpful, and arranged everything we needed (e.g. transfer to the airport in the middle of the night). Both bedroom and bathroom were spacious and clean. Modern appliances in the room (fridge, washing machine, microwave oven, stove, kettle...), there is even a dryer on the common area that can be used by the guests. Good location not far from the city centre and can be easily reached by car/taxi. All in all, good value for money.

To be honest-it' just for hardcore travellers or backpackers yet. It's not an easy destination, they still need to improve in many ways. The people are very kind - but they are poor. There is rubbish everywhere - Sad to see it. But they are working on it, more and more attracions open every year for you to discover. The mountains are beautyful. If you don't expect too much, please support Georgia with your travel and money.

Great place especially the bridge & restaurants by the river .. 160 km away Uplistsikhe Cave Town is a must if travelling between TBILISI & KUTAISI. Food and restaurants are excellent in both. Ambience is great.
The flat is new and very well equipped with spacious lounge. Very secure with courtyard and gate and quiet. Lovely people.
Very good place to chill out in. We were a couple and a Lady friend. Thank you. We were only there 2 days but will return.

The city is nice, but to be honest after time I regret that we did not went first to Batumi or Tibilisi. For me personally, this city is good but for 1 or max. 2 days of sightseeing, after more time I would get bored. The city is very old, sometimes you can feel that it is still not so adapted to the tourism. Nice place for people that are facinated about history and old buildings. Maybe in the summer it has more to offer. We went in March when there was nothing much to do.

To see:
To see:
Prometheus Cave (it is not as touristy as the negative reviews I read, and most of the caves are lit by white light with some colored lights so you see the natural rock colors - it is awesome, the size and formations)
Motsameta Monastery (beautiful, small, on a mountain with a frescoed church and views of more of the Caucasus and river...I heard Gelati is great too but did not see it)
Bagrati's Cathedral and the surrounding ruins, including kvevrebi (clay wine jars in the ground)
Kutaisi Botanical Garden (Bagrati is on the way to this, depending on where you stay), 5 lari admission fee (bring small bills - I found out not everyone has change for 100 lari)...beautiful and with an Orthodox shrine in a tree!
Bukioti (small, colorful cafe with cacao and of course coffee, tea, hot chocolate, as well as achma (a type of khachapuri made with puff pastry) and the best desserts (lava cake, apple dessert which is an air-fried apple filled with nuts and raisins, both topped with vanilla ice cream, and others)
El Paso restaurant - good khinkali
Kolkha Fountain that is in the city center (gold-toned animals with 2 horses on top and a lit in different colors at night)

Beautiful city. It was clean, friendly people.
Beautiful city. It was clean, friendly people. The food was amazing. We went during the winter so the snow was great and everything was running smoothly. Most of the places to visit are at most 1 hour away. Would recommend to go with the local tour guide rather than driving yourself just because the streets and signals are not clear for a foreigner. Food and ticket entries are very affordable. For a trip for a family of 5 people, we did not waste more than 1000 euros

The journey to Kutaisi is like a journey to the past.
The journey to Kutaisi is like a journey to the past. It is nice to see wild world, wild city like Kutaisi. Everything goes slow (apart from road traffic) and food smells and tastes so good.
Go to Kutaisi and feel it yourself!
The best hotel in Kutaisi. Everything is completely up to western standards, but you'd pay at least twice or three times the price for the same room in Europe. The decor is beautiful and the room very comfortable. The location great. They have a rooftop lounge which a view of Bagrati Cathedral. The staff are very friendly, especially Giga who helped us tremendously with everything, and was very open to talking with us and telling us about the city. Giga as well as all the staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and relaxed.
I had a wonderful time in Kutaisi thanks to Mari and her daughter Tuti, who made me feel really welcome, and they offer a truly unique experience by sharing their Georgian history as well as their own family history in a most generous way. They also treated me to all kinds of delightful homemade delicacies, and they really make you feel like a family member. I usually stay at hotels, but I saw this on Bookings and was intrigued and I’m glad I booked this. I’d love to visit again!
Really cozy and quiet hotel with modern interiors in 5-7 minutes walk from the city center. The terrace, as it's mentioned in the title, is a key feature on the roof of the hotel. We enjoyed fascinating panoramic views from the balcony, fresh breakfast in the morning, lovely garden around the building, responsive and friendly staff. Definitely a great choice for a trip around Imereti region or a short stay on the way from Kutaisi airport to Tbilisi!
There location is next to bridge (they have small entrance but it didn't matter) Very new property, You can cook for your food they have complete kitchen utensils near to main city and supermarket and kutaisi market and nice people, they are offering pick up and drop off from kutaisi airport which is very cheap almost same in taxi fare. Thank you Kakak! Very Nice people you should stay in this hotel 🙏

Hotel "Elena" is located close to the Kutaisi old town, next to the fountain - a great place for walking.
Both - the hotel room and the bathroom - are very clean! When we couldn't find the entrance to the hotel, we were greeted and accompanied by a very helpful hotel host.
Nika served us delicious homemade wine at the hotel, offered coffee, tea, took us to the airport at night - so kind and helpful person.
All the best recommendations!
As our plane departured 5 a.m. from Kutaisi airport so we found this Hotel a few km from the airport for one night stay. Room is simple and small but porfict for the short stay. Bathroom clean and really nice. The hotel is outside of Kutaisi so it is not for longer stay for city sightseeing. Staff veri nice and helpful. Even a large nice garden that is worth to see.
Nice, clean rooms and very good location close to center. The owner is super hospitable and can tell you a history of each place in Kutaisi (and all Georgia). He is very helpful and made us feel very welcomed. Worth to mention that owner picked us up from airport at 3:00 on morning and welcomed us with homemade wine and chacha.
Will definitely stay again next time.
A good hotel in the very centre of the town. Good quality for normal price. The woman owner is very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, we had to stay only half day and half night, after that went to the airport. The shuttle was organised by the owner (3 am). When coming to Kutaisi next time, we plan to stay in the same hotel
The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Kutaisi. Staff at the property was very helpful and accommodating by guiding on locations, renting a car and booking taxis.
Very good hotel with a convenient location and easy access to city centre and airport road. Wonderful view on the river and magnolia tree especially when it blooms. The bed in our room was really big. It also has a really good Georgian restaurant in the lower floor.
Location was great. Internet was working very well. Also you can book tours throughout Georgian. Next day we booked transfer from hotel to airport early in the morning and it was very comfortable for us because we didn't wait for taxi 9driver was waiting for us).
Best Kutaisi Hostel!
Pleasant, clean, comfortable, family-friendly, the hosts help with any issue.
A very tasty free breakfast!
There is an option to pick up from the airport at a great price.
There is great wine here. And a great atmosphere.
The hospitality and communication was perfect. We had a short stay but we've got a lot of positive emotions!:)
Our room was very clean and cozy.
Location is perfect - the beautiful city-center of Kutaisi!
Highly recommend the hotel!
The Hotel arranged my pickup at the airport which worked perfekt, despite my flight being late at night and delayed. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I got alot out of my stay at the Georgian Palace and fully recommend it.
Small and very cosy family hotel in the quiet area of Kutaisi. About 2 km distance from the center of the city. Excelent family staff, kitchen with all necessary equipment. Very reasonable price. Thank you.
The staff were so friendly and helpful, even picking us up at the airport at 1 am and finding something for us to eat at 2am. Beautiful hotel in Kutaisi with great food, the perfect place to stay!
Cute hotel in kutaisi every room has its bathroom and the price is amazing! Good value! A cute doggo will great you and make sure the guests will enter and leave the hotel safely
