Very friendly staff. camp site outside in the grounds with a spacious driveway. There was no noise from the camper.
Breakfast. There was plenty of food at breakfast. Toast, ceral, fresh fruit, yoghurts, and the normal tea and coffee options. Croissants were also available. We got asked how we liked our eggs cooked for toast. Kids had beans on toast and plenty of beans, too.

The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. I could have no complaints about anything. The staff were very welcoming, friendly, attentive and helpful. The service in the bar and restaurant was quick even though it was very busy. I highly recommend eating there if you are staying, I had a really good meal and all of the food is sourced locally. The breakfast was spot on as well, all cooked to order and again cooked to perfection. I will certainly be staying there again.

Very welcoming and friendly hostess. Building with plenty of character, and a bedroom of very good size, with a comfortable bed. I am not very keen on baths in bedrooms but this one was set up nicely. Shower in the joining room was pleasant too,
Very good breakfast in a cosy-looking wood pannelled room; immaculate linen on the table.
I liked the architectural features of the building. I am short and i dont have to navigate lower beams or doors but much taller guests might have to remain aware whilst apprising the lovely decor.
Overall an excellent stay.

Our hosts waited up for us because were were at the Cowbridge Food and Drinking Festival. A late nightcap in a lovely old pub with of dark rum and some light banter in the company of Beryl her partner (mine hosts) and a few friendly locals. The Vic is a beautiful old structure in a stunning location; I wish we could have stayed longer. The room was spotless and exceedingly charming with stunning views of the local countryside. The bed was ridiculously comfortable and so we slept the sleep of the good and the just. Woke at 5:30am to the sound of myriad birdsong, a brew and a shower that I could have spent hours in-again, the on suite was pristine. Then onto breakfast. I don't often eat fry ups but I would recommend this one. Black pudding, local pork sausage, egg and beans; my wife couldn't finish hers so I heroically stepped in to polish that off. I would give this place 10/10, real value for money and a family business-perfect for that short stay in this amazing part of Wales.
