Location was stunning and the accommodation was spacious, clean and suited all purposes but the star of the show was host, Frank. So helpful throughout the whole process and a pleasure to deal with. He made life so easy which isn't always the case we find on work trips but he went the extra mile to ensure our stay was memorable. I can't thank him enough or recommend him / the accommodation highly enough! I would like to think I will return in future and would 100% try to stay here again if so.

Have visited North Berwick often but never stayed over as lived not far away in the past. Tantallon and Dirleton Castles are very different with the former having a view of Bass Rock. Very dog friendly. Lots of places to have food and refreshments. The Rocketeer for lobster is a must.

Its a beautiful characterful town and a great place to stay if you are heading up towards Edinburgh. The beaches are beautiful and the town has a great selection of cafes and little shops. The Scottish SeaBird Centre is really good and well worth a visit. A walk to the nearby Tentallon Castle is recommended.

A great place to enjoy golf along the most amazing coastline for golfers.
Two wonderful courses in the town and many more exceptional courses within a few miles.
Several decent pubs and small restaurants. We were told to avoid the Chinese but the fish and chips were great.
The train from Edinburgh only takes 20 minutes and costs pennies!!
These apartments are so comfortable, airy and spacious. The facilities give you absolutely everything you need. Fabulous to have private, secure parking but is a short walk to the train station if you want to dump the car and tour other areas by train. The location in North Berwick was perfect for us. Quiet, yet a very short stroll to the local eateries and shops. A stone throw from the seafront. I have no hesitation in recommending to anyone. I'll be returning to North Berwick and will be looking to returning to West Bay for sure.
The location was sublime. Fantastic views of The Law, very conveniently located to free public parking, less than a minutes walk to the beach and High Street.
Plenty of space, especially for one or 2 people. Had everything you needed to feel like you lived in North Berwick rather than just a visitor.
The owner was very easy to contact and communicate with and helpful.
Very much looking forward to staying again.
We had a lovely stay in North Berwick. the beaches were clean and we enjoyed our walks and the surrounding area. we had lovely food in two excellent restaurants especially the Puffin where the sea food was delicious. the small but quaint high street proved to be interesting and also the coffee shops were excellent. The Sea bird centre was great and we also enjoyed our boat trip to Bass Rock.
Lovely and warm on a cold long weekend. Very welcoming as host had left heating and lights on for our rather late arrival. At this time of year (early March) was able to park just outside the property. The property is a very short distance from the main shopping/eating area of North Berwick. Situation ideal for early morning walks and browsing shops in the town.
The location is perfect for exploring North Berwick and the surrounding area. The apartment is spacious, comfortable, warm and inviting. The views of the Firth of Forth are amazing! Michael made us feel so welcome, just like old friends returning to see him. His little welcome gifts were the icing on the cake. A must for visitors to East Lothian.
Hotel is fantastic in terms of facilities, staff and location. Spa area is fantastic, especially swim out jacuzzi and comfy sun loungers around the pool. Staff were very attentive and joined in with a bit of banter too. Location great for walks with beach right out the back gate. Rooms were good also for the price.
Great house in a small city with a great location - walking distance to the beach or golf course, restaurants and the train station to head into the city. The house was as shown in the pictures and was great for our group (2 couples). We were met by the host’s family to give us information about the house/area.
Lovely property ..... very well decorated and furnished...light and bright.... with an excellent kitchen. Warm and cosy. The location was great right by the coast. On Street parking was fine. Good train links to Edinburgh. This is our 3rd time in North Berwick ..... with this property being our favourite.
We traveled to North Berwick for The Scottish Open. Linda Vista was a good base for our group to rest after long days at the course with a great kitchen (beach view is wonderful from this space), two lounge areas and comfortable rooms. Easy walk to local restaurants as well as sunrise/ sunset beach walks.
A return visit here and it did not disappoint. A lovely property so well equipped, very clean and it’s locality to both the town centre and the beach is great. The owner is very responsive and helpful. The welcome pack is a helpful addition. We love this area and enjoyed staying again in this house.
This is a very cosy, converted bothy and in a great location. It has been very carefully thought out and a perfect base for exploring East Lothian. It is right across the road from Drem station which is on the Edinburgh to North Berwick and mainline route south.
The view from the kitchen window is stunning and the bed was very comfortable. It is a nice quiet area to stay. Only a 25 min walk into North Berwick Centre and the same to the Drift cafe on the way to Tantallon Castle. We would stay again.
Excellent 2-bedroomed property in the heart of ‘old’ North Berwick… clean, spacious and very close to the harbour and seafront. Great to have secure off-road parking and a patio area that turned out to be perfect for late afternoon sun!
The house and grounds are stunning. Beautiful kitchen, living room, bedrooms - everything was so comfortable for everyone to spread out and have their own space. You couldn’t get a better location - or view - in North Berwick!
The location of the cottage is stunning, right on the beach. The village of North Berwick appears laid back and expensive. The people are freindly. The views are exceptional.
Great little cottage for four golfers visiting East Lothian for a few days, would highly recommend. Ideal location for walking into town, great views from the lounge area.
This was a very comfortable hotel to stay in a location near the town and harbour. The service was superb, they could not do enough for us. Would thoroughly recommend.
