We chose the B&B option and had some really good breakfasts at the venue. In town for a wedding and the front desk was great at directing us around and ordering a cab for us.
In the pretty village of Menai Bridge, the 200 year-old Anglesey Arms is rich in original charm and traditional character, with tasty home-cooked food and real ales.

The place is amazing the drive to the property is stunning, I would stay again. It has everything could could ask for in walking distance and there is everything there you need including a laundrette, maybe not the first thing you think of, but trust me you may need it, the views are stunning and the locals are so friendly, a trip I will not forget.

We absolutely loved staying here.
We absolutely loved staying here. The hosts were lovely, the breakfast was fresh and very generous portions. They made our children feel really welcome. A great atmosphere.
We would definitely stay here again.
My favourite thing about Maen Hir would probably be the location. The stars were really clear and it was a great dark sky site. There were owls flying around at night. Absolutely beautiful.

North Wales has plenty to offer and we stayed in Menai for the one night following a 250 mile motorcycle trip up to and around North Wales and Anglesey. There's a nice vibe about the whole town and the connections in and out look well kept.
Superb photo opportunities down under the bridge too!

Very pretty area.
Very pretty area. Where we stayed was beautiful and the people were very kind and helpful. It was just very unfortunate that I had booked so early in advance that booking.com had not updated that my essential requirements were not met and no bed was available after driving and travelling for 8 hrs. They done their best to rectify all issues but I would never book myself into somewhere to stay in a zbed. In error somehow my review was missing vital update to which I thought was feedback to Booking.com and not a review and reflection on the place. The Gazelle Hotel is an Ideal place for the able bodied looking for a very social lively place to stay in a fab location. The staff were exceptional and food good. Car parking on road ok, access to limited parking on side of sloped cliff plus more down a very steep narrow incline and a walk down many cut back steps. Lovely if u ok with this. Great party atmosphere there for those who go out on a Saturday night. We had limited time on Anglesey because passing through from The SE England to NW Irish coast but a very beautiful area.

It’s a very small town/village that has lots of good eating places and lovely walks around the town itself. It hasn’t suffered the blight of so many towns (especially tourist ones) in the uk of boarded up shops. It remains timeless and unchanged.
The location was wonderful, amazing sunset views and even more incredible sunrise views across the waters, you can see the popular bridge, the mountains, the boats etc. it’s very relaxing and quiet, the rooms are a nice size and well looked after! The staff were lovely and friendly, my partner and I were exhausted after our hike, so I asked if we could have the food from the hotel restaurant into our room to eat in comfort, and the staff were so kind they brought it up for us without an issue.
My stay at Eildon was a perfect resting place for a whistle-stop visit back to the wonderful Isle of Anglesey. The room and en suite were clean, comfy with stunning views and the lovely hosts couldn’t have been more accommodating. Owing to Covid at the present time a continental breakfast was available, the choice of teas, coffees, fruit compote, yoghurt, fresh bread, juice, cereals and much more had been really thoughtfully prepared - I wish I could have stayed all morning to eat more!
The location is stunning with unobstructed views over the Menai Straights. Everything you needed for a comfortable stay was included (kettle / iron / ironing board etc.) so no need to worry on that front.
What got me was the quietness of the location (no road traffic noise etc. and not Menai Bridge for things to do) - I'm under Manchester Airport flightpath so refreshing to have tranquility.
Shower was excellent...I do like good shower facilities :-)
In my recent 3 week trip in the U.K., this place stood out by far as the most beautiful, well-equipped, comfortable, wonderful place. It was so thoughtfully put together, with so many extra perks and comforts. It is also super convenient for so many wonderful places to visit in Wales, as well as near a town a short walk away with grocery stores, restuarants, bakeries, etc. I can't wait to return and spend more time there.
The location is excellent, close to Menai Bridge town centre and the Hidden Gardens.
Our Coach House was spacious and overlooked the strait..the views were breathtaking!
The Château offers a good breakfast and I'd recommend their delicious afternoon tea..an abundance of sandwiches, savouries and homemade cakes (and if you can't finish them you can take them home)!
Staff were really friendly. Our booking came with breakfast. The breakfast was really good. We really enjoyed it.
The view from our room was beautiful. We had the view of the Menai bridge.
Location was great. Nice walk down to the river front. We really enjoyed our stay.
Maen Hir is a very comfortable, friendly place to stay. Our room was large with an ensuite bathroom, a big tv, and an electric fireplace. They offer an excellent, made to order breakfast. It's a quiet location near Menai Bridge.
Key code messaged before arrival, folder with relevant appliances/heating controls, comfy beds, spacious rooms and plenty of parking space, easy access to Beaumaris and wider Anglesey, lovely view of the Menai Strait.
The property was in a quiet location just outside the town. Easily accessible.
The owners were very helpful and accommodating. The room was comfortable, clean and well equipped. Fantastic breakfast as well.
Convenient location just back from Menai Bridge. A good size for our family. Helpful host with quick responses. After hiking up Snowdon it was nice to have a living room to flop in for a few hours recovery.
To be fair we were advised, before arriving, that the hotel was in the process of undergoing refurbishment Once this has been completed we are sure our evaluation of the facilities would be much improved.
Great room, especially the bathroom in the turret. View from the Morning Room onto the Menai Strait is lovely. Hotel was very clean and tidy and staff were very friendly and attentive.
Near the iconic Telford Menai Bridge and a short walk to the picturesque Straits. Nice garden. Delicious breakfast. Pleasant room. Enjoyed the ‘buzz’ of this busy, lively hotel.
Best place to stay in Menai Bridge. New ownership is exceptional - food outstanding, view to die for. Breakfast overlooking the water - what more could you ask for.
