We stayed here because we were visiting Paulton’s Park, and it provided everything we needed. It is a classic Holiday Inn, which means it was family and budget friendly, with a pool and a good breakfast. I especially liked the personable approach of providing children with an activities pack, a chocolate bar and free milk and Cookies voucher. Kids also eat free in the restaurant. Overall it fitted a purpose and can’t complain!

The location was fantastic, excellent for getting around the island. The staff were friendly and knowledgable and a special shout out to the spa staff who were very kind. Breakfast was very tasty but lacked a little variety.
The massages at the spa were very nice and that facilities in the spa were also good. We were lucky in that it was very quiet, I think if it had been busy the spa would have been less enjoyable as it is a little small (1 pool, 2 hot tubs, 1 steam room, 3 saunas)

Lots of places to visit close by. The Maritime Museum and Submarine Museum are excellent and an explorer ticket gives a years access to 4 museums and a harbour boat ride.
I found an excellent tea room and a lovely baby clothes and toy shop in the town.
I am a sea swimmer and there were several groups that welcomed me to swim with them.
Roads were less busy than I was expecting.

I actually went back to Lee to remember my holidays as a child pre and post war. Lee is a find place to relax - not much to offer in terms of amusements but a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the sea front and scenery of the IOW. Good pubs and eateries near by.

We only stayed one night as we were attending a function but the area where the guest house was, was quiet and near to the beach area. Seemed to be popular with dog walkers in the morning. We didn’t actually go into the town so can’t comment on that. Travelled by car into Portsmouth to visit the Mary Rise exhibition.

Modern and tastefully decorated, big fluffy towels, bathrobes, decent wifi etc feeling more like staying in someone’s home than a hotel. Having a small fridge in the room is a great idea too that more places should take note of. The “emergency” box was also a nice touch when we discovered we’d left behind a hair brush and could take one from there. Great location a stone’s throw from the beach and within a five minute walk of local shops, and nice pubs and restaurants.
Everything. The room was very clean and well appointed. It was of a good 'hotel' standard. The sunsets are fabulous and can be watched from the room. We know Lee very well, but for first timers to the area, there are views directly to the Isle of Wight. Lots of cafes, bars, restaurants and shops within a short walk.
This is a lovely property, conveniently situated near the front at Lee-on-the-Solent, the facilities were great and the rooms were spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Thank you.
