Friendly welcome on arrival. Lovely big bedroom nicely furnished. Easy walking distance into town centre. Fred the host, was very helpful and accommodating and went the extra mile. Excellent breakfast. Very pleasant and comfortable stay.

The property was of a very high standard, sparkling clean, lovely finishes to everything. Beautiful surroundings, getting to see little calf’s and sheep right next to us was a real highlight for my husband and I. We had a wonderful stay and our hostess added so many lovely extras as we were there for our anniversary. The host communicated everything we needed to know via E mail or text and was so helpful and funny too, nothing too much trouble.
Not the best person to rate Kilmarnock.
I was born, brought up and lived in Kilmarnock till I was 40.
Sadly it is a shell of a town, from what it used to be like.
Can't reccommend for a night out.Few,if any places to get a nice meal.
Pubs are rough.
I come back to Kilmarnocjk every month to see my children and grandchildren. But if we want a night out we go to Prestwick or Glasgow,
Pains me to write this. It was such a vibrant town. But that was long ago.
But I still support Killie.

Hotel not a 4 star. Very noisy due to time of year.
Hotel not a 4 star. Very noisy due to time of year. Typical hotel for people who use it for work. Not a luxury stay. Breakfast charge of £4 extra for salmon was ridiculous. Not top end ingredients. Continental choice very basic. Stayed for 18 days Payment taken upfront. I would have moved if this wasn’t the case.
Blues restaurant food ok dependant on chef.

The shopping, like most places, isn't what it used to be but everything is there for the necessities.
We ate in The First Edition on Bank Street and at The Cotton Mill Cookhouse + Pub beside The Premier Inn at Moorfield Roundabout.
We used the train to get to Glasgow. It was only a 5 minute walk to the train station and 30 minutes into Glasgow central.

Good as base if staying near station, v good public transport links into Glasgow. Town has very interesting history and good heritage trail but is a bit run down. Good range and easy access for food supermarkets if self catering. Dean Castle Park wonderful area for trip with young children.

Arrived on match day, which was busy and noise from fans but once game was over no issues
The hotel was a 20 to 30 min walk to the palace theatre and it was a pleasant walk
Would stay again as the accommodation was excellent for the price
An impressive-looking property. Our hosts, Fred and Robbie, were friendly, helpful and well-organised. The room was spacious, very clean and comfortable. Fortunate to have the room on the entry level. Breakfast was delicious and provided with courtesy and a smile. On-site parking was conveniently outside the rear door. Directions emailed prior to our arrival were invaluable. Dinner at a local pub is only a short walk away. Enjoyed our stay. Thanks.
Great area right by the pubs and train station (we drove anyway) parking directly outside the front door that's not expensive and is free pas 5 and Sundays so it worked out perfectly. Beds were comfy, lounge was great for watching a few movies and getting some predrinks in.
Flat was very clean and tidy, owner left us helpful notes like WiFi password and how to use the boiler.
Class place to stay!
Highly recommended if you're coming to Kilmarnock.
Staff were very welcoming, the hotel was beautiful and very comfortable. If you like a hot soak in the bath, then the water comes in the hottest temperature, bliss!
We had an issue with the shower tripping and 2 staff members dropped what they were doing to resolve that within minutes of reporting the issue
Like a Tardis, so much space, large bedrooms, fantastic host who showed us around the property. It felt so homely, great for visiting family in the local area, would thoroughly recommend, much nicer to be able to do your own thing rather than sat in a hotel room.
Facilities were ok but staff was great and having bar/restaurant downstairs made it easy to get dinner after a long day. Left a pair of shoes there when I left and manager packed them up and shipped them to me. …an extra mile for customer service.
the hotel was only 6 minutes to where we needed to be so for that a good location however thistle taxis because we was English charged us £25 to travel 6 mins recommended by hotel our Scottish friends who also stayed at the hotel was charged £13
This apartment was a real home from home. Everything you needed was provided. Great communication from the host. Was visiting family locally and didn't want to stay in a soulless hotel. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
Very friendly and accommodating staff. Hotel is located in a lovely area of Kilmarnock, 10 minutes walk to town centre
Food for breakfast, dinner and buffet were well cooked and very tasty. Excellent local produce.
Location is very near Kilmarnock town centre.Had to use a public car park just across the road opposite the Hotel. We didn't have breakfast as it wasn't available until 10 o clock,in the morning.
The hotel is immediately above a lively pub. Lively: Loud noise until 2AM>> bottles breaking when tossed into bin by staff at 1:30 AM. The pub staff is lovely. The locals are friendly.
Host was great. Very helpful and accommodating. Offered great local knowledge. Room and breakfast we're wonderful as well. Easy walk to town for dinner.
