Greendale Teahouse and Rooms, hotel in Chatburn

Offering a garden, Greendale Teahouse and Rooms offers accommodations in Chatburn.

Absolutely lovely hosts. Kindness, attention to detail and professionalism was first class. Best breakfasts I have had in B&B accommodation. The property is in a fabulous area with a lovely village just down the road and fantastic countryside in every direction. If I am again in the area it would be my first choice.

Calf's Head Hotel, hotel in Chatburn

Located in Clitheroe, 12 miles from King George's Hall, Calf's Head Hotel has accommodations with a garden, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar. This 4-star hotel offers free WiFi.

We needed to check-in as early as possible so we could attend a wedding. I'd emailed beforehand and the staff had gone out of their way to turn around our room so we could have access when we arrived. It was a large, well appointed room with an ensuite incorporating both a jacuzzi bath and an excellent powerful shower. It was clean and tidy, if a little care-worn, but the bed was exceptionally comfortable, with high thread count bedding and fluffy towels and they get my vote because a teapot was provided. ☺️

James the GM went out of his way to help us get to a wedding in time. Our taxi didn’t arrive so James did not hesitate to take us there which was so decent of him. We arrived 1 minute before the bride walked down the aisle!!

The building and location as my Mum worked there and I went to school across the road. I love how the old workings of the mill have been kept and the use of the whole area.

    It was peaceful and secluded.

It was peaceful and secluded. The cottage had all the facilities required for my stay. It was comfortable and near to the facilities at Clitheroe. The cottage is situated on a farm near the village of Worston (NOT CHATBURN). If you like walking the path to the top of Pendle Hill starts opposite the cottage; although this walk is not for the faint hearted. If your young and fit give it a go. There are some nice easy walks down to the village of Worston. It's a great base for walks in the Forest of Bowland. Clitheroe is only 15 mins away with most of the usual stores. Clitheroe castle and museum is worth a trip and not too expensive.

Beautiful area, cosy and warm cottage (went 3 to 5 December)...

Beautiful area, cosy and warm cottage (went 3 to 5 December)! Two great double rooms with enough space. Third room more for a young child not tall teenager. Definitely recommend as area is beautiful. Visiting family/friends so know Whalley/Clitheroe. The Dog Inn in Whalley is a lovely friendly pub (does food), lovely village to walk around and nearby walking areas. On train route so can go by train. Ate at the Brown Cow not far from accommodation was delicious so highly recommend :)
