It was really nice, The reception is open 24/7 we reached the hotel by around 0030 hrs and the counter was open.
We had a private sauna in our room which is really good.
Breakfast was also very nice.
I frequently travel for business to this part of Helsinki, so I wanted to try the Heymo 1. It's certainly a budget option, the price was very low for Finland, which means that everything is automated with minimal staff (who were very kind). Directions were well labelled, all info was on the TV. The room was spacious, bed was very comfortable and the bathroom well equipped. I did not use the common room in the basement, but I did like the 24h hot drink station. I would love a Heymo hotel at the airport!
Great location, a landmark building with famous architecture from late 50's (by architect Viljo Revell). I suggest all visitors to google 'taskumattitalo'. Location is next to Tapiola center, with plenty of services, and also Espoo Museum of Modern Art (EMMA) is just few hundred meters away. Tapiola itself is a unique suburban area with distinct history. The view from windows opened to the center (and Helsinki), especially nighttime it was spectacular.
The property was perfect for our trip. We were attending the Athletics Championships in Espoo which was very close by (5 minutes walk) - there was also excellent transport close by (train, tram, bus) and a shopping centre with several restaurants and supermarkets. The property was impeccably clean and bright and reasonably priced. The management were excellent and allowed us in early so we get to the first day of the championships. Thank you !

The beds were comfortable. The air conditioning was working well which was a blessing at the hot week we stayed (30C, 86F). The breakfast was good. The restaurant was also not disappointing for dinner. To hotel has a very nice small pool and sauna with dressing rooms.
Wonderful breakfast, clean room, very very nice staff, position in a very nice place in Tapiola, attached to a shopping mall, room with proper dimensions (sometimes in Finland there is not even a desk :))
Wonderful apartment newly opened. Great bathrooms and kitchen appliances. The breakfast was a fresh treat. Right next door to grocery stores and restaurants. Quite convenient for the ferry.
very good and kindly staff. cozy clean room with perfect quiet and efficient air conditioning, location, free parking space. perfect breakfast, 20 min. to center of Helsinki
