Great location in town and on the Camino
Lots of space and 3 bathrooms. All amazing
And lots of space for everyone
Molinaseca is a lively town. A lot of excellent restaurants, bars and hostels. Mountains and a river surround it. Through a nice track, 3 km away, there are two Roman bridges. It's nice for a morning walk. I saw 2 deers this morning.

Molinseca is a very beautiful town. Full of character.
Molinseca is a very beautiful town. Full of character. Some of the restaurants/ cafes were on the Riverside which was great. The locals were swimming in the river when I was there. I was happy I stayed there.

The owner Raul was such a character.
The owner Raul was such a character. He explained everything to us as the buffet breakfast was self service. He was delighted that we were staying for 3 nights as a lot of people probably only stayed overnight on their pilgrimage route to Santiago de Compostela The room was spotless and a decent bathroom made the stay very comfortable. He ran the supermarket within the building and his brother Jorge ran a nearby restaurant. The brothers could not be more helpful. Our party were given a signed bottle of wine on our departure. A really nice touch.
We arrived on a Sunday and the hotel was very busy with a large family event and with local families having Sunday lunch so we were unable to use outdoor area as was fully occupied for the whole day, which is a pity as was one of the main reasons we booked the hotel. There was limited coverage of reception so waiting a while to check in when first arrived and no-one on desk when passing by on different occasions when leaving hotel. This though may relate to how busy it was on the day.
Lovely comfortable room and very kind hosts who made me superb scrambled eggs for breakfast.
The room was spotlessly clean, shower hot and powerful, and a sweet little balconette to from to watch pilgrims arriving into the village.
situated a minute from the Camino, just an immediate left from the bottom of the Puente Romano (Roman bridge) that brings you into Molinaseca. I appreciated the extra blankets in the cupboard as it was quite cold at night. I was as snug as a bug in a rug!
A quaint town with black hearts filled with greed. I’m 2021, we loved this tiny historic town at the base of a grueling yet intriguing descent from Foncebadón. There’s a river to lay in and ice weary bodies or minimize swelling, but the owner here runs the shop, hotel and restaurant, so apparently he doesn’t have time for customer service. He was so threatening to me and we were traveling with teenage daughters, we could hardly sleep, so afraid.
We had a fantastic stay in Molinaseca at the Way Hotel. We got a very large room with an excellent view. The owner was so accommodating. It was a pleasure staying. We wanted to stay two nights, but he was booked. He was nice enough to call the hotel next-door and book us there for the extra night. The large room and light breakfast made it a great value! I don’t think you can find a better spot in Molinaseca.
We liked everything about this hostal and would definitely stay there again. The staff was AMAZING and cooked an authentic Brazilian dinner and breakfast for us. We were walking the Camino, and this hostal was right on the path. The room was really cute and comfortable. This stay truly stood out among the many places where we stayed for our month in Spain, and we look forward to a return trip.
The breakfast was amazing. It was like being at home. The location was primo. We were literally on the Camino (St. James Way) and watched pilgrims walking by as we hung out at the cafes right next to the hotel. Our room was in the back and super quiet and huge. We got the family room. Raul was a gem from the second we got there to when we left. He is so attentive. Gracias!
The owner, José, it's the most friendly hostess I've meet in the Camino. He explained the must see in Molinaseca, with detailed insights. Really a great experience staying here!
The place very clean, organized, and well located to everything you need to restock, eat and drink. Definitely a must!
Great location in Molinaseca! Comfortable single bed in a dorm room with shared bathroom. Bathrooms and bunkroom were clean. Nice common room as well. Only wish the restaurant had been open the night I was here! Great place to stay in Molinaseca!
Completely new renovated house in the center of Molinaseca. Everything was really clean, the kitchen is well equipped.
It was a really pleasent stay. If I was on the Camino again, I would definitly go there again!
Wonderful food! Great staff and service. The owner's son (sorry, I don't remember his name) was helpful and charming. The town of Molinaseca is lovely. Spend at least 2 days there to enjoy all of the beauty.
This hostel was a good value. well located in the Central part of Molinaseca. The staff was very friendly. There is a kitchen for those who want to cook their own meals.
