Reception & room good except for pillows which were poor.
Reception & room good except for pillows which were poor. Disappointed that restaurant was closed on both stays within the last 7 days and also because our 8am departure on our 2nd stay meant we had to leave without having our 7.30 breakfast because of the chef turned up late and the resulting queue to be served had hardly moved after 20 mins.
Thus we had to miss the breakfast we had paid for.

This is a really lovely hotel, we stopped over on route to Santander heading for the ferry, its lovely and clean, comfy and friendly staff. Beds and bowels for our dogs too at €10. We could have driven for 9 hours straight to Santander as we have for 20 years but having stayed here....never again, price wise fantastic too. Definitely recommend and its less than 1 min from the motorway with a lovely bar 30 secs down the road as an added bonus if you want a drink and to eat out.
Breakfast was very poor, charged extra for a slice of cake, lack of any choice. One offer of coffee then extra payment required. No dining or bar faculties available. Offer of another hotel which was down an unlit lane and out of the question for me as walking is a problem. It was a dangerous walk into the path of any oncoming traffic. We have stayed at this hotel many times before and enjoyed it, that is why we have recommended it to friends and why we booked it again. But we will never stay there again.
Great to see this hotel open again after COVID, a change of ownership and a refurb. The hotel has been given a good makeover but is still as clean and comfortable as ever. Dog friendly rooms now have pet beds and bowls for food and water in them. They have however introduced a charge for dogs which they did not before.
The breakfast was fine, fresh natural orange juice with nicely toasted bread and good coffee. Also the offer of more if required. We received a very nice apology and friendly response from Mari, the only hotel staff we saw at breakfast. The standard of comfort and decor in the property was very good.
The hotel had been refurbished around 2/3 ago and it was it was a pleasure to stay their.
A good stop over for 1 night on route to Santander for the ferry.
The hotel has a small breakfast area but not restaurant, but there is one just 100mts away, which serves a reasonable range on the menu.
The hotel is well positioned close to the motorway. The room was advertised as a single but was very spacious and comfortable. It was very clean. The morning receptionist was very pleasant and friendly.
Third time stopping over night on our yearly migration to southern Spain. Very convenient location close to the motorway, but very quiet at night. Clean and spacious. Hotel allows dogs.
Breakfast was ideal to get us started on our journey to Portugal. Main meals in the restaurant nearby were fine but would prefer all meals in the hotel. We are booking for the return
