The owners are absolutely amazing people; they are genuinely welcoming. The place exudes charm, coziness, and the rooms are impeccably clean. There's a café with a nice bar for weary travelers and a fantastic, generous dinner menu. This facility has everything you need for the Camino.

Very nicely laid out albergue with a large spacious dorm with single (!!) beds. 2 bathrooms and a separate set of showers and toilet. Very well equipped for the number of pilgrims it hosts. Lovely staff. Nice sheltered outdoor area for meals and resting

Everything - it was well located. The landlady was really nice, gave us sangria and freshly cooked tapas on arrival, sandwiches and wine for tea. Property super well appointed and equipped and a great Spanish / Basque welcome from Patrice.
Hotel room was clean. Nice little balcony but could only use it to dry our clothes. Our room was western exposure and became extremely hot. Unbearable . I would not recommend this hotel to my friends. Hotel was basically empty and they could have been thoughtful enough to put us on Northern or Eastern exposure. If I had know I would have asked for the western or eastern side.

This is a fascinating town because of its length, full of surprises, its churches, its convent from where you can buy cakes and Tau crosses, its castle you can climb up to, a castle that has been renovated and is well worth a visit.
Friendly check-in, beautiful location, grounds and Hotel were quality throughout. Rooms were really thought about with flowers and attention to detail. Nothing was too much to ask from anyone you spoke with. Lovely relaxing areas inside and outside the hotel, private and secure, accommodating, free parking, on-site restaurant for breakfast and dinner. Electric car charging. The owners are one of a kind amazing!
Brand new boutique hotel, build on the grounds of the ruins of a convent. The facility and rooms are completely modern and very casual chic. Large grounds behind the hotel, there is a restaurant, which I did not try but the menu sounded quite interesting. They have a self serve mini snacks, wine and beer alcove. A very tranquil and beautiful stay, highly recommended.
Great place! Lovely clean and spacious room (much bigger in real life than it looks in my picture) with modern bathroom with good water pressure. The host was super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!
The hotel is centrally located and also has a restaurant and laundry machine making it a great one stop shop on the Camino.
we loved this little inn! very good value, extremely friendly reception from the new owner, nice facilities. food and drink available at the bar downstairs. directly across from the colegiata church whose museum holds some very fine religious art and a gorgeous retablo. highly recommended over the other options in Castrojeriz.
Amazing new albergue just at the entrance of Castrojeriz. The owner was super friendly and welcoming and helped organise a taxi back to Burgos for my husband. The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Castrojeriz is a lovely town with loads of history - possibly one of my favourite stops on the Camino so far!
Very clean rooms. Nicely decorated older hotel. The gentleman checking us in and working the dining room and bar was EXCELLENT!! Very nice dinner after a long day walking the Camino. The hotel is located pretty much right on the Camino for convenience of Pilgrims. We would stay here again.
Very comfortable and well placed beside the church where the camino enters Castrojeriz. Above all a great atmosphere around and after the communal meal. A lively bar in the ancient hostal next door adds to the experience of this beautiful and new hostal. Excellent rooms with views.
Located right at the end of Castrojeriz, Rosalia is a great pilgrim hostel to mingle with other pilgrims. It doesn't take long for Rosalia fill up. I enjoy my stay here. Javier is a great host and the breakfast was perfect for the next day's walk!
Everything was superb. A real gem on the Camino trail. Spacious room. Interesting and gorgeous old house/hotel. Wonderful welcome. Fantastic views from the breakfast room. Safe bike storage
we loved everything about this hotel! it was wonderful! it’s beautifully decorated, comfortable, great location and a fabulous owner! we would highly recommend choosing this hotel!
This hotel is the most beautiful hotel I have ever stayed in - the grounds, the decor, the quality of materials, the scents, the food, the staff - everything was just stunning.
