Great hostess Mariesol. Didn't speak Englisg but we coped. She organised a meal for us, local fare which was delicious. She also organised an early breakfast for us. Nothing was a problem. Was quite knowledgeable about camino invierno which is what we are walking.

Good location for a traveler who needs to stop near the road to spend the night. Surprisingly big and spacious, both the facilities and the room. Food downstairs at the restaurant was also good, both for dinner and for breakfast.

I loved the quirkiness of the place. The host was very interesting to talk with. I was so happy to see my first ever Ginko Biloba tree there.

Overall a great hotel with really helpful and friendly staff.
The downside of this hotel is the food and outdated rooms.
Though the views through the windows are mesmerizing.
Great for people who are doing the Invierno route

Excellent location for visiting Las Medulas. The hotel is very special with cute details at every corner.
We loved our host Maria, who showered us with kindness and was very helpful during all our stay.
Many many thanks Maria!
This a jewel of a Casa Rural!! I booked through booking.com and it said there were no meal options… that is SO WRONG! The owners of this beautifully restored old building, have a lovely bar and restaurant too, and they do all the cooking, and it’s great! Such lovely hosts - I would recommend this place to anyone thinking about stopping at Borrenes while walking the Camino Invierno… it’s perfect! Oh and they have a salt water swimming pool too - doesn’t get much better! :-)
There are many fascinating historic locations to visit nearby in this region. This superb rural hotel is a very comfortable place, with excellent food, wine and beer. The owners are very welcoming and pleasant and helpful (and they will use Google Translate if you don’t speak Spanish). I will definitely stay here again!
Very pleasantly surprised. Hotel was very peaceful, relaxing and clean. The pool was great after a long day of travel. The owner and staff were fantastic.
They even served 3 course evening meals with 4 different choices! It is definitely worth a retur visit.
The hotel is located in a very small and quiet village. Good room with decent bed and a good shower. Hosts were very friendly. No TV in the room, but a large TV was available in the common sitting room. Nice breakfast with fresh bread and home made jam.
