A small mountain town liked by walkers/cyclists/motor cyclists. There is free parking and the town has a few bars and restaurants, remember it is a small town. The road to France passes and you can be in France in 30 minutes (the tunnel closes at night). There are many organised mountain walks and plenty of paths and tracks to walk yourself. The weather, the cool evenings away from the fierce summer heat of the coast. An open air swimming pool is available at a small price. The stunning mountain scenery, the local produce available. No the Spain of the tourist brochures, a welcome bit of peace and a change.gerardIreland

Very Spanish in the best way: warm and inviting people, comfortable restaurant with menu del dia, a real asador and a great breakfast. I had dinner in the hotel restaurant both nights I was there and the portions were large and delicious ( especially the shoulder of lamb). The staff really work hard and look after their guests. I would stay here again.

It it well equipped & designed ,the stuff were very nice and helpfull . Parking is free and plenty available. Outside sitting places and well maintained.

The rooms were very comfortable with en-suite bathrooms, which were very clean. The staff were friendly and one spoke English.
