Its an old-fashioned hotel with beautiful and spacious lobby area.
Unfortunately well overpriced.

Surrounded by Lake Geneva and glorious Alpine peaks, tranquil Montreux has enchanted artistes through the ages. Lord Byron was so inspired by the style and setting of waterfront Château de Chillon that he wrote a poem about it. Nowadays it is one of Switzerland’s most popular attractions.
Freddie Mercury also fell in love with Montreux and a lakefront statue in Place du Marché commemorates this former resident in typical pose, with one arm raised to the heavens. Queen fans flock here for the annual Memorial Day, just one musical festival hosted by this town. The most famous is the 2-week Montreux Jazz Festival, held in the Music & Convention Centre.
On the opposite side of town is Audiorama (the Swiss National Audiovisual Museum), near a funicular railway which climbs the hill. Further up the slopes is the family-friendly Rochers-de-Naye ski area, while the Les Pléiades pistes overlook neighbouring Vevey. Down at the quayside wooden chalets house stalls of the annual Christmas market.
Summer activities include boat trips, hiking and the Montreux-Oberland-Bernois narrow gauge railway whose trains allow you to really savour the views…and a nice cup of coffee.
The train station also connects to Geneva, site of the nearest airport, and Booking.com offers luxury hotels, apartments with views and cheap B&Bs nearby.

It's a wonderful small town on the bord of Geneva lake where you can find peace, quiet, meditate and reflect as you wish to find your inner self. It's different from other swiss cities and once you were here might understand why Freddie loved it so much.

Montreux is a wonderful region that one can spend 3-4 days in easily. The lake side views are phenomenal. One can choose from multiple options such as visit vineyards around Vevey, take a train ride from Vevey to Laussane (regional one not the fast trains), explore Chillon castle, do a trip on golden express or glacier express, take a trip to Roches de Nayers and just relax and enjoy scenic beauty of the region. Highly recommended

Montreux is a wonderful location to spend your holiday.
Montreux is a wonderful location to spend your holiday. It has many restaurants to dine at. The view of the lake is stunning. There is plenty of public transport, and with free passes you can travel all around the town. And also there are a couple of free train journeys for you to travel up the mountain side. And should you feel lucky, you can try your luck at the Casino which is just across the road from the Hotel.

Two night/three days in Montreux barely scratched the surface of all the things to see and do. The charm, the location, culture and sheer beauty, especially along the lakefront captured my heart. May it capture yours, too!

Great for using as a base for travelling. Good boat trips on the lake and recommended for the Christmas Market. Riviera card saved some money when travelling with free bus travel between Vevey and Villeneuve along the lakeside.

Wonderful place.
Wonderful place. The city is confined in a narrow region between the lake and steep mountain, but still well organized without mess. There are several parking buildings which was ok during the jazz fest in September. So many wonderful places to visit if you take mountain trains from Montreux.
Literally one of our best experiences in Switzerland... Location is super close to all attraction, coupe of minutes from train station, bus station is 2 mins away. The room and the view from our room was even better than the pics. Staff and specially the lady at reception she received us Maeva was so amazing and super friendly and helpful.
They have the best Italian restaurant in town and almost one of our best dining experiences in Switzerland
The room in Montreux was not a bad price, however on entering the hotel, it was like experiencing a Wes Anderson film. The rooms have not been updated for years, which gives a certain charm, but given the price, which wasn’t bad for the area, is still lacking in modern commodities.
If your staying for a night, you don’t need anything else, but any longer you may want to look for proper air con in the summer or heating in the winter
The hotel is about 10mns walk away from the main station, and only 2-3mns away from the Montreux riviera walk. There's a bus stop right next to it with multiple bus lines.
Room was bigger than expected, and the bathroom too. Clean. Lots of towels provided. Comfortable large bed. Cozy balcony with a limited but nice view of the lake and mountains. Safe & fridge are available.
Hotel Parc & Lac boasts a commendable location, offering close proximity to the serene Montreux lake - a definite highlight. The rooms were big (at least the ones we had) However, beyond its prime location, there's a noticeable lack of standout features or amenities. Future guests should set their expectations accordingly.
Location was excellent, near train station and convenient to everything. Our triple room had a fantastic lake view and huge balcony with a dining table. Amazing staff, lots of personal attention and recommendations, David went above and beyond helping us with our delayed baggage. Breakfast was delightful.
The location of the hotel is very good, very near to Montreux train station. Just a 10 minutes walk from train station to the hotel. Mr David was very kind and friendly and he shared us tips on keeping fit and healthy. And the hotel breakfast is very nice. Nice ambience and tasty breakfast.
Not my first time at Eurotel, and for sure not last!
the best place to stay in Montreux. Welcome drinks, popcorn, haribo in the hotel lobby:)
Friendly staff, perfect location, perfect view from balcony. Very good breakfast.
Thank you for your hospitality!
See you soon!
Great hotel, which you can access right from platform 1 of Montreux train station. Nevertheless, during the night it was completely quiet.
All staff was kind and helpful.
Breakfast was amazing, big choice of fresh fruit, granola, and hot foods, great quality products.
The views are incredible. The location is directly outside of the train station and in the heart of Montreux. The hotel is GORGEOUS. We spent more time watching the sunsets from our balcony then actually exploring it was so beautiful! A MUST stay!
This is a wonderful hotel that is well located near the lake. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful and gave us a lovely welcome. The room was well priced and very comfortable. Highly recommend this hotel if staying in Montreux.
It's very comfortable, clean, and the view is amazing. Breakfast is also excellent with various kind of choices. I would defenetely recommend the Freddie Mercury hotel if our family or friends are visiting Montreux
Super comfortable beds, immaculate room and amazing friendly service right from the valet, the concierge, and till the end of our stay. Will surely return to this fabulous Fairmont le Montreux Palace!!
One of the cheapest accommodation in Montreux, in a relatively good location. The bed was also stiff enough compared to the very soft bed of the hotels in Switzerland which I had been to.
The location was excellent: right on the lake and with direct access to the Montreux Christmas Market. Breakfast was very nice. The hotel itself is very grand, if a little old-fashioned.
Beautiful and comfortable apartment, excellent location, quiet and with daily cleaning service, Combining the best features of a hotel and an apartment
