Definitely Regina was adequate for our hockey tournament.
Definitely Regina was adequate for our hockey tournament. We found it easy to get around with plenty of places to dine and shop if you wanted. The central sports facilities are super - something to wish your city had. The only problem - ice plant seemed undersized and did not freeze floods.

Regina like most large cities has its highs and lows.
Regina like most large cities has its highs and lows. Some lovely areas some quite run down. Our family took in the Regina Science Centre. Can't say enough about how much we all enjoyed it. Especially the IMAX documentary. The facility was clean, fun for the entire family and lots of space to roam without feeling overwhelmed by other people. The IMAX film we choose was Wings Over Water. Gorgeous cinematography that the kids truly enjoyed and even my son, daughter and I learned about the wetland birds of the prairies. A great day was had by all. We stayed approx. 3.5 hours.

There's a lot of worthy places to visit in Regina, 3days is not enough. If you're planning to go to Regina, you must visit the Saskatchewan Parliament Building, they have a free tour every 30minutes from 9am to 3pm. And try to meet Scotty, the world's largest T-Rex in Royal Saskatchewan Museum, admission is free, if you're generous they're accepting donations starting at 5cad.

Lots to see and do: R.C.M.P.
Lots to see and do: R.C.M.P. Museum, Saskatchewan Sports Hall of Fame, Museum of Natural History etc. It is easy to get around due to the city's small size, good signage as well as good lighting. I prefer Wascana Park where there are lots of birds and beautiful trees. It is a great place to have a picnic and enjoy the sunset which is beautiful!
While travelling to Edmonton from Toronto - my son and I stayed at this nice little hotel conveniently located in the heart of Regina right near a lot of cool restaurants. The staff was very friendly and helpful and our room was big, bright and very clean. Breakfast was included and there was a lot to choose from.
We had a double room with two big beds and the bathroom with bathtub was quite large too. It was very quiet, which is much appreciated and there's free parking on site, which is great too!
The night staff that was working on Sept. 10/ 2021 at the east Regina Sandman Inn was completely disrespectful & rude. I’ve never had a man speak to me with so much disrespect. He would not listen to what I was saying and he was demanding a payment for the room. I wasn’t aware that the day manager cancelled my reservation so they wouldn’t let me pay cash for an extra nights stay
We had heard that Regina was not very safe so we were anxious about having to walk far for a meal and a drink. The hotel had a public bar and an excellent restaurant. All the staff who served us were exceptionally friendly and helpful so we didn’t have to leave the hotel at all. Everything was reasonably priced.
The beds were comfortable. The room was fairly clean. Location was convenient for the Royal Saskatchewan Museum and other business that we had to conduct. Moxies and Denny's were both conveniently located very close to the hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
We booked online, based on the reviews. It was the nicest room, with the cleanest amenities of all of the hotels we stayed at on our trip across Canada. We will definitely seek out this particular chain again. Great job. Everything was excellent.
This Home Hotel was great! Our king suite was awesome. Very well equipped, and spacious. We felt like we were relaxing at “home” last evening and this morning. Wish your chain was available across Canada!

Proximity to the airport and RCMP depot. My daughters flew in late and they were shuttled to the hotel well after midnight. I had my motorhome and there was ample parking for it during our stay.
Good value for your dollar
Great lighting options in the room - best in any hotels we have stayed in for a long time- very important !
Quiet!
Thermostat and tv control easy to use!!
I stayed here when I flew into Regina, and also when I was departing. Proximity to airport and included shuttle service was great. Breakfast was also good.
