The Parkview Hotel Mudgee, hotel in Mudgee

Mudgee’s Parkview Hotel located in Mudgee, features historical architecture and design. Free private parking is available on site.

The hotel is in a great central location. The room was very spacious, comfortable and well appointed. It is on a busy street but there is soundproofing on all the windows which took care of the majority of the noise. Being able to sit out on the balcony at the end of the day with a lovely Mudgee wine was a welcome addition. The reception staff were super friendly and helpful. The cafe downstairs was a great added bonus.

Parklands Resort, hotel in Mudgee

Set on 30 acres of beautiful gardens, the Parklands Resort offers an indoor swimming pool with a spa and sauna. All rooms feature a veranda.

The staff go above and beyond, are very welcoming, and were easy to speak with, and very outgoing. Two ladies in particular, who were on shift for most of the Easter weekend, were amazing (I’m ashamed that I can’t remember their names, sorry).

Everyone was friendly and helpful. Town well presented, and interesting in history. I stayed one night in transit but will plan a longer stay and will recommend to friends. I loved the statue and background of Louisa Lawson.

Mudgee is an attractive country town surrounded by vineyards and has a lot of significant history. It’s a short distance from Gulgong, which is a must see if you want to understand the history of the area. It has probably the best museum in the country and a brilliant photographic museum too. There are not many towns with an opera house!

Accommodation was easy to find and very comfortable.

Accommodation was easy to find and very comfortable. It was an easy walk round town to shops, eating facilities, coffee, pub, club, art centre, We visited winery not far out of town and experienced a wine tasting complete with hampEr and we bought other delicious goods on offer. We have been buying wine from this winery for more than 30 years so was terrific to go back and meet the new owner and see it again for old times sake. The Arts and Crafts Centre at the Railway Station has a collection of beautiful items. Trip to Gulgong, not so far away was a blast from the past with old wares shops and museum.

I love Mudgee for the diversity of things to do and see.

I love Mudgee for the diversity of things to do and see. Plenty of places to enjoy a drink, meal and generally catch up with friends and family. We dined at Kelly's Irish Pub which was building up for St Patrick's day celebrations. Started one morning at Elton's Bar and Bites, and was not disappointed with the quality of food on offer. Attended the annual foot crush at Robert Steins winery follow by sampling some of their award winning fine wines at their cellar door. Wrapped up the day with scrumptious Asian / Aussie cuisine at the Woolshe pub watching games on the bug screen.

Two Daughters was just perfect. The fire, outdoor dining area and the fire pit were exceptional. The property was so clean and we just loved our stay! Mudgee is a beautiful destination. We experienced a gorgeous walk to The Drip Gorge, hired E-bikes and did a 20 km bike ride and visited Craigmoor winery. The town centre was great and we even went to Gulgong, Rylstone and Kandos. One of our best extra long weekends. Thank you!

Away for the weekend with a group of friends. Very happy with the Parkview hotel even though I believe the price was rather high for country NSW. Could have had a Sydney Harbour hotel for cheaper. Location was great, can stroll into the shops and pubs. If you stay, try and get an upper room as you have direct access to the balcony. Great for pre dinner drinks and watching the world go by.

Incredible location in Mudgee! An easy walk to all the cafes, restaurants, shops, bars and grocery stores. We rented bikes and rode directly from the hotel to fabulous wineries. The room was very nice, with a spa tub in the Junior 1- bedroom (definitely recommend after a day of biking/wine tasting), comfy bed/pillows and an outdoor balcony for fresh air. We would absolutely stay here again!

Great location, property was located on 32 acres yet close to town. Peaceful & private. Cottage was exceptionally clean. Hosts were friendly & helpful with info about Mudgee , surrounds & tips on what to see & do.The little extras like chocolates, port, binoculars , picnic basket were thoughtful touches. Indoor fire was great too given our visit was during winter.

The hotel is very good location wise in relation to the Mudgee Town Centre. The building itself is quite large and therefore allows a spaciousness that matches the rustic nature of the building design. The staff reception was very helpful with some issues that arose. The person dealt with the issue quickly and helpfully.

70 on Mortimer is a gorgeous property. The building is 100 years old and I loved that we were sleeping in some Mudgee history. My Partner and I had a wonderful stay in an exceptional room. The icing on the cake was the little gifts in the form of wine and chocolate in the room. We will definitely be coming back :)

Fabulous property in a quiet, lovely location close to Mudgee. Beautifully decorated to a really high standard. Well-equipped and well stocked kitchen. Butler's pantry with Nespresso coffee was wonderful. As most of our party cycled in the Mudgee ride, the spa was a big bonus after the ride! This group will be back!
