Very nice location on the shore of a wonderful lake with plenty of birds. Great family running two rooms bungalows. Very clean room and bathroom, very good WiFi and delicious food for breakfast and dinner cooked in house. Also very good AC for the hottest moments of the day. The place is very private since the bungalow is separated from host house and in front of the bungalow you have a nice place to relax. Highly recommend this welcoming family. They provided every day some local drinks or snacks, to find out more about local food. You can reach the place by public buses easily if you get off the bus at the post office and from there is 100 meters by foot. Or the host may pick you up by tuk tuk. Also you can arrange trips by tuk tuk with the host at very good price. Really appreciate every day spent at this place. Thank you for such a lovely stay 😊

Lovely family guest house with very friendly owner. Gave us several tips on what to see, arranged an amazing safari trip for us and trip to Polonnaruwa by tuk tuk. Habarana is perfect starting location for various trips (Dambulla, Sigirya, etc.). Delicious home made sri lankan breakfast and dinner. Simple, clean and cozy rooms surrounded by a beautiful garden. Walkable distance from the main road. Very good quality for reasonable price. Recommended.
