This is one of the best locations I’ve visited so far. Situated in a very remote area where there’s limited access to outer world. You have to take a basic nature trail to reach the destination which my family enjoyed much. once you entered the premises it’s like you stepped into another country. Very calm and peaceful environment so we need to adopt to the destination. I recommend this place to all nature lovers who look for places where you can blend with nature. Limited electricity so prepare yourself with backups. (power banks, flashlights, ect)

We stayed here for one night we enjoyed it so much we extended for another night. The host is a very sweet & warm person. He is an interesting man and keeps his home and the guest apartments very clean so much so I was impressed at how neat and well thought out the spaces were. They smelled very fresh as did the bed linens and towels 🙂 We stayed in the budget room equipped with two huge beds, fluffy pillows a fan, great shower with hot water & huge kitchen with a fridge. This was so needed and appreciated after spending the whole day exploring waterfalls and trekking through the stunning scenery that surrounds this homestay. The host has a beautiful garden with tropical flowers and spaces for guests to sit and enjoy the garden also you can enjoy the many authentic & delicious breakfast, lunches & dinners the host will provide at a very reasonable cost. He truly takes the hassle out of everything for you and will go miles out of his way for you. We felt very safe and extremely cared for here. There are gates with locks on for your scooter and your own private access to the building. This homestay is in one of the most beautiful and historical regions in Sri Lanka. Convenient location close to the main road. Comfortable rooms with hot water showers. Most of the shops and restaurants were closed due to Covid situation but you can get almost anything from Belihuloya town. Best if you could get your stuff from Balangoda or Haputale towns.

We ended up paying a bit extra to upgrade our room. Large comfortable bed and pillows. Good spacious bathroom and shower with hot water. Use of a sitting area adjacent the room. We had a great Sri Lankan dinner with lots of different dishes as well. Good breakfast though spicy.
