Opening onto a large shaded terrace with a private area for each of them, guest rooms at B&B Le Sette Vele have Mediterranean-style décor and tiled floors. They are surrounded by a garden with sun terrace. The location, with a view of Stromboli and Panarea from the terrace was amazing. A shady private terrace/patio to relax on was wonderful, as was the surprise jacuzzi! The rooms are tastefully decorated, very clean, with a mini kitchen hidden in a roll top ‘cupboard.’ Breakfast was good and plentiful, complemented by wonderful sea views. The hosts are lovely, always had a smile, and were very enthusiastic in their recommendations of places to visit. I really wish I could have stayed longer!

The owners immediately make you feel welcome and like home. They prepare a lot of the breakfast themselves, from jam to granita and cookies. The room was bigger than expected and everything was super clean.

All units are complete with a private bathroom and air conditioning, and some rooms come with a balcony. At the guest house, some units are fitted with a coffee machine and wine or champagne. Magnificient view and beautiful rooms. Well decorated and calm spaces with all the amenities required. The staff is incredibly nice and friendly, we would absolutely come back (might even consider buying some plot of land right next to it we loved it so much 🙂)

Shops and cafés are within a short walking distance from the B&B. Scheduled ferry boats to the mainland, Sicily and the other Aeolian Islands leave from Santa Marina. great location and amazing hospitality

Il Gelso Vacanze offers comfortable accommodation with balconies just 200 metres from the beach on the Island of Salina, the greenest of the Aeolian Islands, off the coast of Sicily.

Rooms at Il Gelso all have a private entrance from a patio area and come with a fridge and private bathroom. Almost all have a view of the Mediterranean Sea. We stayed four nights at Il Geslo Vacanze, Paolo and Gianfranco were really great hosts providing information about buses, maps and help when necessary. The room was great with a magnificent seaview (and a hammock to enjoy the sun). The breakfast on the terrasse were a great way to to start and plan the day ! Overall, a really great stay ! We would recommend it to anyone looking to stay in Salina !
