Dario and Frederica have set up something special here in Dos Brazos, near the Corcovado National Park. Set in the heart of the jungle, in a lovely small Gold Mining village this beautiful guest house is a fantastic place to stay. Great welcome, the most comfortable bed, shower and space of our trip so far. A lovely fresh breakfast, great self catering facilities (but Frederica is a chef and will cook your dinner). Watching the jungle birds from their deck was a true joy. They went out of their way to book us a guide for a day exploring the jungle - a shout out to Jose who was a brilliant tour guide to the jungle. He grew up in the village, was fantastically knowledgeable about animals, history and Costa Rican life. Speaking excellent English. He is also a great artist - get him to show you the furniture he makes. Dos Brazos is also worth a mention such a lovely little village, the residents there welcomed guests so warmly, everyone we met had a smile and hola. Try the homemade ice creams advertised from small house! Perfect treat after a hot walk. La Casita means little house, but this is a little house with a big heart thanks to Dario and Frederica’s love and attention to detail. Perfect in every way and I wish we could have stayed longer (forever!). grazie per la vostra accoglienza e ospitalità. è un piacere conoscervi entrambi.

The host is super friendly and so it felt as if we where visiting friends. The room is spacecious and good facilities. Everything you need to make you feel at home! Set in Dos Brazos, in a property dating from 2018, Yejos features barbecue facilities and common space with free WiFi. Dos Brazos is a lovely friendly community close to the rain forest. There are fantastic guided tours available from the tourist office (which also has free wifi) We took a walking tour into the Corcovado National Park. The guide Jose was extremely knowledgeable and patient, a great experience but there are lots of places you can go by ,yourself. The accommodation is basic (which you would expect from the price) but very comfortable and clean and the garden is full of wildlife. There is a regular bus service to Dos Brazos 2-3 times a day. You can get some fruit and veg at the tourist office, and there is a small shop a few hundred metres further up the road past the footbridge.

Los Mineros Guesthouse is located in Dos Brazos del Rio Tigre, 50m from Corcovado National Park entrance and 13 km from Puerto Jiménez. It is set in beautiful gardens which can be seen from the rooms.... Suzanna and Chani were amazing! They were both extremely welcoming and helpful! Staying at Los Mineros was my favourite part of my trip to Costa Rica. The guesthouse is surrounded by nature and you see all kinds of wildlife. It’s a perfect place to recharge. Chani is a great guide and showed me beautiful places in the jungle and numerous animals. I feel very fortunate to have found this guesthouse!

Situated in front of the school, El Manantial de Corcovado provides a garden and terrace. All rooms boast a private bathroom. The accommodation offers free WiFi. Loved the authentic accommodation. On the doorstep to all the nature and wildlife you dream of.Kerley and family were wonderful hosts and are passionate about what they do.Very good value, bedrooms were clean with a simple ensuite bathroom but you had everything you needed.The kitchen was very impressive so it was very easy to prepare your own food.if you wanted to..Loved the verandah .We went on bird trips with Kerley, and he looked after us really well.Got some amazing birds and animals and learned plenty from him
