It is a room in a house, in a short walking distance to everything you may need, with windows open to a nice garden - you will be woken up by birds in the morning. The owner is wonderfully helpful and friendly, you will enjoy his company and advice (and the company of his cat and dog). The place is clean and very convenient. You will share the bathroom. Staying at this place is a kind of good experience by itself, you will be immersed in local life and bring home good memories. Strongly recommended.

The best place we stayed in Costa Rica. Dario and Frederica have set up something special here in Dos Brazos, near the Corcovado National Park. Set in the heart of the jungle, in a lovely small Gold Mining village this beautiful guest house is a fantastic place to stay. Great welcome, the most comfortable bed, shower and space of our trip so far. A lovely fresh breakfast, great self catering facilities (but Frederica is a chef and will cook your dinner). Watching the jungle birds from their deck was a true joy. They went out of their way to book us a guide for a day exploring the jungle - a shout out to Jose who was a brilliant tour guide to the jungle. He grew up in the village, was fantastically knowledgeable about animals, history and Costa Rican life. Speaking excellent English. He is also a great artist - get him to show you the furniture he makes. Dos Brazos is also worth a mention such a lovely little village, the residents there welcomed guests so warmly, everyone we met had a smile and hola. Try the homemade ice creams advertised from small house! Perfect treat after a hot walk. La Casita means little house, but this is a little house with a big heart thanks to Dario and Frederica’s love and attention to detail. Situated in Barrigones in the Puntarenas region, Corcovado Guide House features accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. This guest house provides a garden as well as a terrace. Bienvendidos is the word! The host is super friendly and so it felt as if we where visiting friends. The room is spacecious and good facilities. Everything you need to make you feel at home! Lovely hammock in the living room :D Don't hesitate.. Just go!

Los Mineros Guesthouse is located in Dos Brazos del Rio Tigre, 50m from Corcovado National Park entrance and 13 km from Puerto Jiménez. It is set in beautiful gardens which can be seen from the rooms.... I really liked this place. The environment, contact with nature and Channy's attention. I recommend taking the tours they offer, you won't regret it. Overall it was a fantastic experience. We cannot forget that we are in the jungle and don't have the comfort of a hotel and.. many good things are happening :)

Set in La Palma in the Puntarenas region, Hospedaje y alojamiento Cabañas Don Beto has a patio. Both free WiFi and parking on-site are available at the guest house free of charge. Don Beto and Danillo were so friendly. We had a lovely time staying on their property. Would definitely recommend! this stay was a highlight of our trip. Quiet and peaceful!

Situated in front of the school, El Manantial de Corcovado provides a garden and terrace. All rooms boast a private bathroom. The accommodation offers free WiFi. We stayed 4 nights at the end of june in el manantial and had a really good stay. The cabina has air-con, what was great, it is clean and had enough space for our little family. It is located  in the center of Dos Brazos near to the school, tourism office and a little shop (maybe you better should bring fresh veggies or fruits from Puerto Jimenez). We did some hikes in Bolita Rainforest and booked a night hiking with Kerley, we saw a lot of animals - we recommend both!
