The location was perfect for visiting the Cahuita National Park - and also close to other amenities like grocery stores and restaurants. Everything was within 5 mins walking. The host was amazing - she provided a lot of local information including best sites and shops. She even knew the 'usual spots' where sloths would hang out. Thanks to her advice we saw sloths and even kinkajous in the evening. Rooms are cozy and have everything you need: AC and hot water.

Situated in Puerto Viejo and only less than 1 km from Negra Beach, Kalawala features accommodation with city views, free WiFi and free private parking. It wasn’t too close or too far from the main part of the city, just the perfect distance. Easy access to the street to find taxis (when needed). House was cozy, equipped with good a/c, so it was perfect place to relax when it got hot midday.

Rooms are very clean and super comfortable to stay in. Staff is really nice and incredibly helpful. The owners gave us lots of advice on things to do in Puerto Viejo and the area around it.

Situated in Guápiles, Centro Ananda is located in Guapiles, 6 km from the center. A patio with garden views is offered in all units. The bed and breakfast offers a terrace. Everything is really cute, Klaus welcomed us warmly and made us the best breakfast! He showed us the cute garden and explained everything. The Tents he made by himself are really cute and comfortable. I can only recommend staying there!

Set in Jiménez and only 6.1 km from Ebal Rodriguez Stadium, Salamandra Costa Rica offers accommodation with river views, free WiFi and free private parking. The property has garden views. I loved Salamandra!. The property/garden is absolutely beautiful and cozy with a huge variety of lush flora. Everything was super clean and all four breakfasts I had were different and delicious. Jose and Silvia are extremely attentive hosts... they're simply the best. I would return in a heart beat.

I was impressed with the spotless absolutely clean room. Immaculate! I enjoyed a comfortable sleep and was treated so kindly by the owners, that I will not forget them. I definitely recommend Cabinas Hukats Secret Jungle. What a local gem!!!

Situated in Cocles, Finca Valeria Treehouses Glamping features a garden and on-site dining. All rooms are fitted with a terrace with river views. At the guest house, rooms are fitted with a wardrobe. Most beautiful nature and animals. Quiet, clean, very friendly people, awesome dogs and an awesome pancake breakfast. Best place in the neighbourhood!
