The room and bathroom were very spacious yet felt cozy, almost like you were in your own home. The hosts were super accommodating and helped us plan our outings and provided us with things to do that no book or website could offer. The breakfasts were top notch and so so delicious that we we looked forward to them each morning. Can't say enough about how great this place was. No detail was too small for them to ignore and help out with. Would go back again 10 out of 10 times.

Our room was very cute and clean. We did not realize that there would be a little kitchen in the suite, so that was a great surprise. It was super well equipped. We honestly wished we could have stayed longer. The breakfast was delicious and the hosts were so king. The restaurant has a beautiful view of the small lake on the property. There are also many bird feeders, so you get to watch the hummingbirds while you eat. There is a beautiful gallery as well with lots to see!

We had breakfast included every morning and it was alway delicious and the food was so fresh...huge portions and coffee refills included. We also ate dinner there every night as it was easy and we didn't have to drive anywhere. The menu had enough variety that we were very satisfied with our choices of evening meals. The soup Azteca and Caprese salad were both delicious! The birdwatching from the balcony of our room was wonderful...we saw several new species including a reoccurring nightjar that came every night to the road next to us. Also saw lots of hummingbirds and other species in the shrubs and trees around the property. It was a wonderful place to get away and close to the volcano park and Mistico as well as several hot springs.

The location super, a bit away from the crowded areas, still next to super attractions such as the Arenal Vulcanic park and the butterfly reserve. The nearby cafe terrace, 200 m from the butterfly reserve, offers a fantastic view where you can spit more birds and monkeys as anywhere.

The home was in a beautiful area walking distance from Lake Arenal Park and recreation area and very close to restaurants and shops. Perfect weather...no need for a heater or air conditioner.
