Offering a garden and lake view, La Ceiba Tree Lodge is situated in Tilarán, 41 km from La Fortuna Waterfall and 17 km from Venado Caves. The location is absolutely beautiful and the rooms are really lovely and good sized. The photos don't do this place justice! Sergio and Mileidy are fabulous hosts and couldn't do enough to help (e.g. arranging taxis etc. for me as I didn't have a car). The food was exceptional - breakfast and dinner were delicious, creative and beautifully presented and they had decent wine and beer available if you want it.

Baliyana Lodge is located in San José Pinilla and features a pool with a view and garden views. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. We had such a lovely stay at Baliyana lodge. This place is a gem and Nathalie and Yannick are wonderful and helpful hosts. The accommodations are serene and beautiful, nestled in a quiet location surrounded by the jungle and the sounds of playful monkeys. At night, you can see all the stars in the galaxy from the stunning infinity pool and the garden grounds. The drive to get there can be a bit off-putting at first but you will quickly get used to it (maybe don't plan your first arrival for night and reserve an SUV). The WI-FI is weak and there are no TVs in sight, so plan to sign off completely and be intentionally and mindfully in the moment. You won't regret it. This is honestly the best place to do that, with a lovely and delicious curated breakfast in the morning. The lodge may seem remote but there are beautiful beaches and a few delicious restaurants a short drive away - Playa Avellanas and Il Rustico were our favourite. Tamarindo is a very doable 20 minute drive away. Do not hesitate to book this as your Costa Rican Pacific beach accommodations.

Casa del Sol provides a garden, as well as accommodation with a kitchenette in Tamarindo, 100 metres from Tamarindo Beach. The location and cleanliness was very good. The staff were fantastic.

Set within 19 km of Venado Caves and 30 km of Mistico Arenal Hanging Bridges Park in Nuevo Arenal, Marita's Bed and Breakfast features accommodation with seating area. The tropical garden at the bed and breakfast is delightful. We enjoyed Marita's wonderful breakfast as we gazed over beautiful foliage and bird-watched. The hosts gave excellent suggestions about area activities and provided a very helpful map. Watching the sunset from the nearby lake park was terrific.

Tee-K Lodge Tamarindo is 7 km from Tamarindo and offers accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool and a garden. The bed and breakfast has air-conditioned rooms with a private bathroom and free WiFi.... Super nice vibe. Extremely clean. Felt safe. Staff was super friendly

Situated in Nuevo Arenal, Casa Donna Rosa B&B features accommodation with rooftop pool, free WiFi and free private parking for guests who drive. Everything was perfect, working, clean, and above expectations equipped. My first and so far only 10/10 stay. This is a jewel of a B&B. A true home feeling far away from home with the arenal adventures reasonably close and the best breakfast experience I had so far. Carlos is a super host, helping with all we needed, tour suggestions and reservations. From the front porch we could observe an armadillo, an opossum, and a family of toucans. Nuevo arenal is peaceful, quiet, feels safe, and is child friendly. Lighted sidewalks, kids playground with two good restaurants next to it, and a quite clean and nice lake access nearby gave our kids a relaxing break of travelling during our 5-night stay at Casa Donna Rosa. If we travel through Costa Rica again, we will definitely rebook.

Pura Vista Hotel is a bed and breakfast offering accommodation in Coco. Among the various facilities are an outdoor swimming pool and a terrace. The bed and breakfast features a luggage storage space.... From the time we walked into the reception area we felt welcome. Breakfast was excellent and casual (in a good way). The views from the rooms were spectacular.

Located in Sámara, Hotel Villas Tangerine is adults only and offers accommodation with a patio. Free WiFi is offered. The villas are immersed in trees, you can hear the monkeys at night, the room is spacious and it has lots of storage. The pool was great when you get back from exploring the area. the breakfast is incredible. The owners are really nice and full of suggestions on things to do. would definitely return.

Situated in Nuevo Arenal and only 22 km from Venado Caves, Lucky Bug Bed And Breakfast features accommodation with lake views, free WiFi and free private parking. Lucky Bug is a fantastic place to stay, we had a great time there. Monika and Rob are brilliant hosts, so helpful and made us feel so welcome. Lucky Bug is in a beautiful setting with small lake and rain forest all around and the rooms are lovely and comfortable. Eating on the terrace over looking the lake is a great spot to eat and the food is really good - great breakfast every day! Would thoroughly recommend Lucky Bug.
