A very nice house set in it's own gardens looking across a small valley to the town of Montecchio. The view from the terrace where you have breakfast is really lovely. The room was a good size, very clean. The location is excellent for visiting the surrounding area, and very quiet. The owner is extremely nice and made it a very pleasant stay. One special mention for the Trattoria Kilometro Nero in the town - excellent food and service. The town had a "bigne" festival at the time with street parties which made for special evenings

The room is large and clean, nestled in a beautiful building. The pool is spacious and well maintained. Around the pool there are places to sit and chaise longues where you can simply relax and soak up the atmosphere of Umbria. The garden is stunning in its beauty, and has more other places to relax. The breakfast is excellent, the jams are very special. I will definitely be back

There was a nice restaurant just at the bottom of the hill and Orvietto was a short drive away. Plus the cheapest fuel we found at the bottom of the hill as well.

They have well looked after family pets so if you don't like animals, this is not for you. Breakfast was good and plentiful. We would stay again if in the area as we were really only passing through a beautiful part of Italy. A good base for Orvieto and other historic towns around, and close to several large lakes. They gave us local tourist information and an excellent place to eat.

This kind of place suits us as we travel regularly from Puglia to Yorkshire and look for different places near to the motorway. It offers easy secure parking and pleasant short walks.
