Atención, hay 2 lugares con casi idénticos nombres en el mismo lugar: Mida Creek Eco Camp (este) y el otro Mida Creek Nature Camp. Ambos parecidos, pero con unas diferencias importantes. Nosotros dormimos 1 noche en cada lugar y probamos ambos. La comunicación/relación entre ambos lugares no es la mejor... pudiendo llevar a algunos problemas de que por ejemplo te equivocas de lugar. Mida Creek Nature Camp: Ha iniciado justo después de la pandemia. La filosofía del hombre que lo lleva es iniciar poco a poco y las cabañas son bastantes básicas y manuales. Es decir, están hechas con materiales tipo ramas, palmeras, madera, etc. El trato personal es impecable y se aseguran de que estés bien, todo tipo de consejos, historias, un tratamiento personalizado, recomendaciones, etc. Noche de hoguera, etc. El desayuno bastante bien. No tiene cocina, pero puedes encargar cena o comidas. Mida Creek Eco Camp: lleva unos 10+ años en el lugar. Las cabañas son más "casa" con muros o paredes de cemento con baño en el interior. Aunque dice que tiene cocina, realmente es la cocina del restaurante o del staff, por lo que aunque te dejan usarla es un poco raro y nada cómodo. Está ligeramente más cerca del creek, unos 200 metros. El trato fue bueno, aunque más frío.

The staff at the resort were incredibly friendly and helpful, always going above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable.The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities, and I especially appreciated the comfortable beds and pillows. The highlight for me was definitely the food - the resort has several on-site chefs that served us a variety of local cuisines, and every dish I tried was absolutely delicious. The resort also offered a range of activities and excursions for guests to enjoy, including snorkeling, diving,dhow rides,There is truly something for everyone here, whether you're looking for a relaxing beach vacation or an adventure-filled getaway. Overall, I highly recommend Rafiki Jua to anyone looking for a memorable stay in Watamu. The combination of stunning natural scenery, excellent service, and fantastic food make it a top-notch resort that I can't wait to visit again. 👌🌊🏊‍♀️🌴🍽️

Location was good, although not very close to the beach. The close proximity to the swimming pool made an attractive alternative. A social and friendly environment, staff were extremely helpful.

Our stay at this accommodation has been exceptional from beginning to end. The location is amazing, right across from a paradise beach and near to hotels and restaurants. Its also next to the new Non Solo Padel Club which was super convenient for me who I love playing padel :) There is a very peaceful outside area with swimming pool that we enjoyed a lot. The house was very clean and the hosts gave us so many tips to move around. We would love to come back!

Excellent location for tranquility and a very good beach within walking distance. All the food provided by the chef was EXCEPTIONAL! The grounds and pool were very well maintained. Peaceful, charming and very well managed. We had the room right at the top, so you'd have to be nimble!

A fairytale day! Upon arrival we were greeted by smiling staff who escorted us to our second floor apartment. Here we found ourselves on a huge balcony, where we then dined with a view of the pool and the starry sky. The apartment was perfect: clean and with a nice flower arrangement on the bed to welcome us. The location is fantastic: just cross the road to get to one of the most beautiful beaches in Watamu and in less than 5 minutes by motorbike or 15 on foot from the city center. In the staff there was even a cook, that based on our choice, made us a typical and cheap local dinner. To end our night we had a swim in the pool looking at the stars...a very special moment. We can only recommend Nadia & Ale house to everyone to be spoiled in a fabulous location.

What an absolute gem! If you are lucky enough to find availability at Beba’s gorgeous beach house, don’t hesitate. It is absolutely wonderful - a real quality home, full of love and care and the most amazing staff. Beba is often around to check in, with her adorable two dogs, but if she’s not there, the staff are always ready to help with anything you need. Breakfast is plentiful and delicious and the chef James is brilliant and makes great dinner dishes if you decide to stay in, definitely worth it! Snacks and lunch, plus a wide selection of drinks are available to order. It’s in an incredible location just a few steps from the beach, gorgeous rooms (especially upstairs with its own wonderful shady and cool terrace), fabulous food and plenty to see and do. The walks out to the sandbanks at low tide are incredible- and high tide brings swimming, kite surfing, and plenty of action. There are some beach bars and restaurants nearby (you can hear music after 10am but it’s off by 10pm) and then it’s blissfully quiet.

Very engaging hosts, and beautiful pool and house. Easy to get around, and just a short walk from most wonderful beach. Highly recommendable.
