Just a minutes’ walk from the golden sands of Pauanui Beach, Ocean Breeze Resort boasts a seasonal outdoor pool and a steamy hot tub. The unit for 3 of us was excellent with beautiful surroundings and a lovely heated pool. The bathroom came with a spa bath and ample shower space. We also had a washing machine and dryer in the apartment which was a bonus and very much appreciated. The hostess Louise was very friendly and helpful and shopping was only 5 mins away.

Waterfront Apartments Whitianga has commanding sea views for all apartments and is located opposite Buffalo Beach. Stunning view, comfortable beds, good size of bathroom. Very enjoyable staying. Close to restaurants, shops and beach.

Centrally located in the historic Coromandel Township, Coromandel Apartments offer self-contained accommodation with a full kitchen and a patio. Located on the water in Wyuna Bay, the upstairs apartment has stunning views of the waters towards Coromandel Town. Everything we could have needed was there, rain or shine. We got a swim in on the beach in front of the apartment, and the deck was sheltered for evening sits to watch the changing skies.

Sovereign Pier On The Waterways offers luxury waterfront accommodation with kitchen facilities and a private balcony with stunning views. We loved the size of the villa, the decor, the pool and spa as well as the gym and having a car garage was an added bonus. The kitchen was well equipped and having a washer and drier was helpful.

Situated on a picturesque rose garden, Phoenix Thermal Resort - Taupo is 2 minutes' walk from Lake Taupo and 20 minutes' walk from Taupo City Centre. It is 2.7 km from Taupo Airport. Its important to note I booked a room with a Thermall spa/pool and it was soooooooooooo awesome!!! I used it every night and would definitely stay here again. The staff was wonderful and actually attending to the beautiful garden in the middle of the property upon my arrival. My room was clean and included a well stocked kitchen area (fridge, stove, pots/pans, coffee/cream, etc.). Now it is an older property so please do not expect the Marriott, however, if you want a unique experience with an insanely beautiful garden area, this is your property. It is important to note it is a short drive to the city center, but I was able to walk 20-30 minutes to nearby pub which is along the lake with wonderful views. DEFINITELY GET THE THERMAL TUB IF YOU"RE ABLE!!!!

Located alongside the lovely Lake Taupo, Braxmere Lodge offers accommodation with a patio and lake views. Guests can request a BBQ and enjoy access to our boat ramp. The location was great with an amazing view of the lake and just what my wife and I needed on our honeymoon. It was great as a jumping off point to visit the surrounding areas like Lake Taupo itself and Tongariro National Park as we visited various Lord of the Rings filming locations surrounding and on the volcanoes. The room was clean and very spacious, with one of the largest bathrooms in our three week's staying all across New Zealand.

Located directly opposite the harbour and 2 minutes’ walk from Whitianga’s main beach, Esplanade Apartments offers private balconies with views of the swimming pool, marina or ocean. Spacious and clean. Good washing facilities. Great location close to restaurants etc.

Situated across the road from Buffalo Beach, Blue Marlin Apartments offers spacious apartments, some with sea views. The property is a 5-minute walk to Whitianga Marina. Free WiFi is provided. We really enjoyed our stay here. I booked 3 different units, for 8 people, which gave us lots of space. Having a shared patio was a bonus for meals with all of the family. (The one unit had a full kitchen, which was handy and having bbqs were great!). Having the beach right across the road was amazing, as well.

Voyager Apartments Taupo is located 50 metres from a safe swimming beach and it is a 10-minute stroll along the lakefront to Taupo town centre. Easy check-in via door pin code was great as we drove from Auckland.-Taupo and didn't arrive until 10.30 pm. Clean, spacious, comfortable, allocated off street parking, plenty of utilities. Would definitely stay again.
