(The ceviche place across the street from there is also excellent.) Every day we took a water taxi (100 pesos) to different beaches. We stayed three nights and got to three beaches - we could have stayed another night to make it to Yelapa. We liked going towards the end of Las Animas under the shade of the palm trees, and hanging out at Charly's Bar on Playa Quimixto watching the incredible surfing. One day we hiked (45 mins) to Colomitos Beach which was shallow low waves, but pretty small in terms of footprint.
