A nice small guesthouse with a private sauna, just a short walk away from the harbour, offers anything you need as a tourist. Granted, the room may not have the most modern look, but we were happy nonetheless: the room was spotlessly clean, and the kitchen has many utensils. The biggest asset of this guesthouse? The host: a very kind and welcoming lady who helped us on our way multiple times. This hospitality was also reflected in all common areas, which were breathing a cozy 'welcome home'-atmosphere. I would most definitely book here again.

Salpalinjan Hovi is set in a charming, renovated school building, 10 minutes’ drive from Lappeenranta city centre. Excellent location and awesome place to stay close to Lappeenranta. The "history room" is super, it's very spacious and it's fully furnished with everything. The host is very nice and helpful in explaining what to do in the nearby area and in Rutola village. Nearby there's a GP Grilli which is excellent. I highly recommend it if you're passing by!

Situated in Punkaharju, 44 km from Savonlinna, Hapimag Ferienwohnungen Punkaharju features a shared lounge and free WiFi. The accommodation has a sauna. Literally everything!!! It was the first time we stayed in the place like this, where the house was equipped with all the appliances and tableware. Even salt and pepper, as well as coffee machine filters were found in the kitchen, this was of much pleasant surprise to us. The reality exceeded our expectations. Very quiet place with peaceful nature and well-considered premises.

Has block out curtains & mosquito screens on windows which is very important in the summer & we found many accommodations don’t have these.
