Beautiful and well-equipped apartment, great view from the balcony. We requested a chair and bath tube for baby and both were provided. The building is up the hill overlooking the other bay, not the harbour. It is possible to walk down to the harbour or to take a bus that goes every hour. The manager offered us a free transfer from the harbour when we arrived and back on the last day.

The accommodations were spectacular. The staff was so helpful throughout our entire stay. The rooms are spacious, clean and beautifully decorated.

This place is surely one of the best we went to in all our life! The owners are awesome, the breakfast was good and plentiful, the view is gorgeous, the apartment is big, cozy, calm and ultra-clean. It is located in the upper town, near some really good restaurants. The owner came to get us at the port with his car when we arrived and drive us there too when we left. Frank and Eva are really kind, helpful and good-hearted! There are really nice walks from the apartment, especially one that goes downhill to St-Nicholas beach, which has a Taverna, sand-beds (4 euros each), beach umbrellas, crystal clear water and taxi boats to the main port and to other part of the isle. Symi was a wonderful island, we met lots of kind symian people and had a blast. Thanks again Frank and Eva!!

If there is an enchanting place where you can find relaxation, nature and wonderful hospitality, this place is Amalthea. The structure is new in excellent taste, clean. Excellent services. It overlooks the sea with a small private beach where everything is served to you with great kindness and cordiality. The excellent aperitifs or cold or hot dishes of the small restaurant work perfectly from morning to evening. The owners and all the staff are among the friendliest and most helpful you will find. What more could you want?

Super location right on the seafront, in a renovated old building. I was given a room with access to a private balcony/terrace with a fantastic view of the harbor. Good value from money considering location. Larger apartment than I was expecting, with an upstairs bedroom. Facilities such as hot water and WiFi all in good working order. There was a kitchen but I didn’t use it and didn’t even look at the cooking utensils so can’t comment on them.
