If you like quiet and a place to rest your soul, this is it. This is an exceptionally minor point but the shower curtain has a tendency of getting wrapped around you. What a wonderfull stay we had at hotel Mary. Filimon is a very friendly and funny host and does anything to make your stay comfortable. Rooms were very clean. We also loved the pool. We visited hotel Mary in July and had the pool to ourselves many times. Pool is well taken care of as well. The hotel is 80 meters away from the (sand) beach, shops, supermarkets and tavernes but you don't hear this in your room. It is very quiet. I loved the hike from the hotel to Marathokampos and to the cave of Pythagoras. Both hikes are 1 hour. We also visited the other side of the island (kokkari, waterfalls, pythagorion, karlovasie) by scooter. You can rent those (and cars as well) on walking distance from the hotel. Enjoy Samos and Hotel Mary 💕

The room was very good value for money, especially if booked for 2 guests. All is quite new in the room. The bathroom is spacious and relatively modern, also very clean. If one wants to stay in Marathokampos, this is an excellent location. 3-4' from local bakery, cafés, restaurants and bars. 1' from the beach. The balcony doesn't have any particular view but that's not an issue. The host is very polite. Overall, highly recommended.

We liked everything. The apartments are simple but very, clean and nice. For a family with 2 children absolutely perfect. The pool is wonderful as it has salty water inside hence only miminum chemicals are used. It is very close to the most beautiful sandy beach of the island. The owner is a great person, is very friendly and shared with us great tips. We wanted to stay 3 nights but than stayed here until the end of our vacation. We will definitely come again.
