I can Only say thank you to the owners. Although the restaurant was closed they made us dinner for my son, who was injured and me. I am very grateful and if I am coming back to Saint Nicolas I will definitely stay here again

Been coming here for more than 10 years. The facilities include a pool and sauna but the rooms are basic and not for everyone but certainly great for those who aren't looking to break the bank on vacation. We were able to cook in a number of meals which made the trip more affordable too.

The property is well located in the centre of the village. Ski shuttle is across the road, very convenient. Facilities like swimming, sauna and common area are available should you need it. I like that the you can get your fresh bread every morning at the bakery downstairs. Receptionist was friendly, polite and she deals with all clients patiently. We booked a one bedroom room with a Mountain View. They are 3 of us with our two small dogs - it was comfortable, clean and with nice balcony.

We stayed in January 2023. It was brilliant. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had a lovely warm and cosy third floor studio (No.32) with a good view towards Mont Bissanne. A comfortable bed and enough space for a couple. The traditional construction style mean the bathroom ceiling was low, but not it was not a problem for us. We mostly self catered using the compact, but adequate, kitchenette in the studio. Hotel Le Very has a pleasant bar/restaurant La Flamme where we enjoyed some meals and predinner drinks. The location is very convenient giving access on foot to the ski slopes and the main shopping and restaurant areas. There are bakers, delis and a small Spar supermarket within a only a few minutes walk. There is a ski bus stop on the road outside the main entrance. The ski room is heated with lockers with heated boot racks for each apartment. They have an excellent indoor parking area, which we were very glad of as it snowed a lot while we were there and so saved a lot of digging when we finally had to leave. Overall this was a really good base to explore Les Saisies and the Ski Diamante ski areas.

Stayed in the summer, and (when clouds cleared!) some stunning views and scenery. We stayed in the summer, but can see this would be beautiful in the winter as well, with snow covered slopes and roofs. Nice shop in the residence, and town very close for restaurants, larger supermarket and obligatory gift shops. Didn't use them, bit seemed to be plenty of sports shops renting skis and equipment. Saw plenty of busses on mountain roads, and bus stop right outside entrance, so guess you don't need a car to get there.
