While the unit was the closest to the street, it was warm, quiet, spacious and immaculately clean. Contactless checkin was a bonus but the proprietor was easy to contact and very helpful. After a long day travelling we opted to buy groceries and cook dinner in-house rather than dine out. Everything we needed was in the cupboards. All windows had insect mesh and openers that worked with ease (unlike many other places we have stayed). We decided to stay another night but unfortunately they were fully booked so had to leave after just one night, but offered parking for the day while we took the Gordon River cruise (which we didnt take up but appreciated the offer). The unit had 2brms - one with a double, one with twin setup with electric blankets. Just one block from the grocery store. Would highly recommend for any travellers.

Easy check in and great communication from host. Lovely place, super location and clean. Heater worked well as everything else. Loved the family chalets with two bedroom for our group of 12 we fitted easily into three of them.

The unit had been renovated recently. All amenities we needed. Clean and comfy beds. Nice and warm and short walk to town

We liked the lovely cabin which offered all we needed. The extras like the patios, the walk by the river, the peace and quiet and no hassle!! We are on a visit to my sister's at Bruny Island from UK but wanted to go to Strahan for the Gordon River cruise and it was perfect to stay with you to break our return journey. Thank you very much.

Very clean cottage. We could park directly outside our cottage and that saved us the torture of moving the suitcases. We could cook in the kitchen and got our laundry done for a small fee. Jill at the reception was nice and helpful with our enquiries, board rental and kayak rental. Patrick's IGA and The Ship That Never Was are all a short drive away. Beautiful sunset at the esplanade.
