It's a 2 minute walk from the park entrance while still giving you the feel of being outside of the park. They kept power on the whole time so we could still charge things throughout the day and keep the fans on all night. At nights the rooms cooled down and were comfortable. The bathrooms were shared but we were the only people here so it felt private.

The entrance to the park is very close and Albert and his family are very nice and friendly. They will also make very good and valuable meals. The rooms are clean and comfy. Rob provided great local knowledge of the park and made a delicious breakfast for us every morning at a time that suited us. Unfortunately Dina was away so we didn't meet her but Rob was a great host and we would definitely stay there again

It’s an amazing experience to step out of your comfort zone and stay here. Diana and her family are so friendly and helpful. It was a relaxing stay and refreshing break from “normal”.

Nestled within the lush greenery of Mulu National Park in Sarawak, Benarat Lodge offers cosy accommodation steps away from the Melinau Paku river, and 1 km from Tenguloh Cafe. Rooms are large with aircons and private bathrooms. It is across the river from Marriott, and five minutes by car from the airport and the national park. They will drive you to the national park for a small fee (5 myr per person).
