Situated just a 4-minute drive from Mount Isa Airport, Abacus Motel offers free WiFi, a licensed restaurant, guest laundry and covered parking directly outside the guest rooms. We honestly were blown away by all the little touches in the property which helped make our stay so enjoyable. down to the car window wash outside all rooms after driving for hours we badly needed it! the takeaway cups were super handy for our coffee to go at 4am the next morning. the private courtyard at the back of the room was probably the best idea I’ve ever seen for a motel when you have a dog with you it made staying so stress free just to be able to let him out without having to actually leave your room but not worry about him getting away somehow :)
