Tamu Koh Rong, hotel in Koh Rong Island

Set in Koh Rong Island, Preah Sihanouk Province region, Tamu Koh Rong is located 3.7 mi from Sok San Port.

We can only warmly recommend the hotel from start to finish. It starts with the nice staff, whether front office manager, housekeeping or the waiters in the restaurant, everyone is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was freshly prepared and very tasty. The additional dishes besides the selection at the buffet were also very good and fresh. We loved the idea of using the tents as rooms. Of course, you should be prepared to encounter a gecko, frog or snail in the bathroom, after all, you are also booking a nature experience here! The cocktails are also very good, happy hour from 4-6 can only be recommended. The white beach was always clean and well maintained, as was the entire resort! If I were to come to Koh Rong again, I would check in here again!

The Secret Garden Koh Rong, hotel in Koh Rong Island

Facing the beachfront, The Secret Garden Koh Rong offers 4-star accommodations in Koh Rong Island and has an outdoor swimming pool, garden and terrace.

Our stay at this beach hotel was pure bliss. The beachfront room had stunning views of the white sand beach, and the food was a delicious mix of Khmer and fusion flavors - still thinking about the coconut dory and the fried kampot pepper fish. The Khmer-themed cocktails are unforgettable too. The staff were incredibly helpful, always ready to accomodate our specific needs. The highlight of our stay was the bioluminescent plankton night boat tour, don't miss it. Definitely will come back.

Very beautiful beaches, still pretty wild everywhere.

Very beautiful beaches, still pretty wild everywhere. No much nightlife but perfect to relax and enjoy the beach. Renting a scooter is highly recommended to get the most of the island and explore different places and beaches at your own pace. We went to Lonely Beach, Coconut Beach and Long Beach and really lovely the 3 of them. We stayed in the fishing village in the North-East, really authentic.

The most interesting and genuine fishing village on the island, Preksway, is well worth a wander around. Some nice beaches (e.g. Pagoda Beach) but unfortunately I was a bit underwhelmed by the visual side of the island. Large areas have been flattened out to build hotels and casinos on for the Chinese tourists, so not very pleasing to the eye. Unfortunately much plastic and other trash lying around build-up areas.

Beautiful island with stunning beaches white sand and clear waters. You had to use the boats to get around as the road infrastructure is not great ! The resort's are a bit shabby, but to be expected, as this is a third world country in many ways. The people are very friendly, and, by and large, the bars and restaurants are reasonable and inexpensive.

Location is great, the pool is very nice, it is right on the beach. It's a small hotel which makes it perfect because even when the hotel is full you don't see many people so it's super relaxed. It is very close to restaurants in case you don't want to have dinner or lunch at the hotel. The breakfast is perfect. They have hot water in the shower and the air conditioning works very well. They also pick up your luggage when the ferry arrives so you can walk 7 minutes on the beach to get to the hotel. Wifi works well.

we had a great stay here, having read some of the reviews we were sceptical, but we had a lovely time. the hotel is a good standard and location wise you are away from the craziness of main towns but close enough (via boat) to go for evenings out. Down the beach we had some lovely little bars and restaurants. big shout out for Owen the front office manager, who couldn’t do enough for us, from the moment he met us on the pier to the minute we left. Nothing was too much hassle - he made the resort what it is!

I first came to Rafikis in 2013 when it first opened under different owners and was known as Reef on the Beach. I have been there several times over the years and what I have always liked is the simplicity - the back to basics of it - and that it is RIGHT on the beach. The new staff are great guys and haven't done much to change it. The location can't be beat, and the bungalows are exactly the same. This is still one of the best beaches in the world and 4k beach has NOT been ruined by development.

I loved my stay at Lily’s! The bungalows are rustic but very comfortable. Lin and Ah Sey and the entire staff are so friendly and helpful. They really did everything to make my visit great. I loved hanging out in the restaurant and watching little Lily get into all sorts of mischief, and the infamous sea otter paid a visit which was amazing and funny. As others have mentioned, Lin’s boat ride with snorkeling, fishing, a barbecue and finally swimming with the bioluminescent plankton was pure magic!

The location was spectacular and on a beautiful quiet beach that is heaven! The thing that sets Anaya apart from the other hotels on Koh Rong are the staff. My friend and I stayed here for 5 nights and the staff could not be more helpful or friendly - particularly Vong on reception who helped us sort everything we needed, including transport to and from the resort, which was a little complicated for us! He was lovely to chat to and really elevated the experience beyond the destination!

I extended my stay because was easy for me to go to other beaches I like . The food is from good quality, not super cheap but okay if you compare with food luxere resort the prise bit less expensive but not that much . free water is a big plus during day .

The location is beautiful, cheap snorkel hire and beach access meant you have some of the best coastline in Cambodia all to yourself. Very secluded and great to be around nature. Dany was very friendly and helped us with questions beforehand and anything we needed. Food options were good and tasted great. Our balcony was perfect for a morning to read and soak in the atmosphere Being able to see plankton at night without paying for a tour was fantastic!

The front desk manager BoBo was the best ever, she was so incredibly accommodating and had a wonderful smile at all times, she made the stay absolutely wonderful. The bungalows offered a tranquil retreat with a great ocean view restaurant on site that offered breakfast, lunch and dinner options. There was WiFi throughout the property and you are able to pay with card for any transactions/tours/meals and it was so nice to have loungers for sunbathing.

Impeccable helpful staff who are thoughtful and engaging. Travel logistics getting to and from the hotel play a big part in the arrangements, I received great assistance and advice with the ferry and taxi is and the manager helped me enormously. The style of the hotel is minimalist and tasteful. The food is really delicious and I noticed guests from other neighbouring hotels coming to eat in the Secret Garden restaurant.

Nice place to stay nearby the best places in Koh Rong. Close to the beautiful beach, party hostels, the town, the port - everything within walking distance. The beds were comfy and private, AC working during the night and morning. Be prepared for bugs outside at the bathroom sinks. One of the best budget options to stay in Koh Rong in my opinion.
