Loch Leven Hotel was in a stunning waterside location surrounded by beautiful mountain views, a short distance from the center of Glen Coe. We appreciated that the Inn was old which gave it character, but it was very in good repair, had well kept flowering plants, a short path down to the flowing loch with more mountain views.
The extended nature of the main building and others around it. and the varied medium sized rooms for dining and local pub, made it seem smallish and cozy, though it was much larger than we realized upon arrival. The rooms were beautifully decorated and furnished, very cozy bed and bedding, and wonderful tiled shower with jetted tub/shower combo. The food was expertly presented and also delicious. This resulted in a lovely, romantic stay.
A 25-minute drive from Fort William, Glencoe House offers accommodations in 10 acres of private gardens. There is free WiFi throughout the buildings, and free private parking on site.

Truly a gift to ourselves to stay at Glencoe House. Richard and the staff were exceptional. Hats off to the chef who popped in to make sure our meal exceeded our expectations. We utilized the pristine hot tub, affordably priced bar, exquisite accommodations. Put yourself first and enjoy the long history and commitment to service at Glencoe House🏴

One of the best places we have ever rented. Studio is set up to make you comfortable and they have thought of everything. The owners were wonderful and friendly. Showed us how everything worked, and even made our dinner reservations for the 2 nights we were there. Amazing view-decorated beautifully. Large bathroom with giant tub. Glencoe is a beautiful area and we had a great time because of this lovely studio and the friendly people that own it.

Staying at Skyfall Glencoe was definitely one of the highlights of our trip! The quality and comfort of our stay here far surpassed that of any other of our accommodations. Not only was it beautiful but you could tell the owners put a lot of love into this place. We came in April and the place had a spring theme that was very welcoming and thoughtful. The attention to detail was phenomenal! From the chocolates placed all around the house, to the cute fox plushies which always made me smile and feel right at home. The living room area was very cozy and I was surprised to find myself actually wanting to stay in one night to just relax and watch tv because I just could not get enough of the place! I often stood in the living room just admiring the view of the loch from the balcony, this place is in such a beautiful location. The hosts also stopped by to check on us and left us some provisions in the fridge. They were very lovely, welcoming, and recommended endless options for dining and entertainment in the area. This was by far some of the best hospitality I have ever been shown, anywhere I’ve traveled around the world. It was a truly wonderful experience and when we return to Glencoe I wouldn’t think about staying anywhere else.
On average, 3-star hotels in Glencoe cost $212 per night, and 4-star hotels in Glencoe are $289 per night. If you're looking for something really special, a 5-star hotel in Glencoe can be found for $296 per night, on average (based on Booking.com prices).

We spent 2 days in Glen Coe, in the heart of the mountains, outside of Fort William. Arriving from the south we had a fabulous drive through the height of the mountains, and enjoyed the Glen Coe visitor center for their historical displays, gift shop and recommendations re local hiking trails, and places to eat.
We appreciated that this is a very undeveloped, yet stunningly beautiful area with just the right amount of places to see and enjoy for a 2 day stay if you like an leisurely experience re all that an area has to offer.
Just beyond the area, be sure to take the Gondola ride to the top of Ben Nevis, Scotland's highest mountain. There is a good cafe at the top to take in the views, see mountain bikers ride the trails and take a walk on nearby paths.

After a really friendly personal welcome from Tony and Mairi, we settled into what is a luxurious studio, with great thought given to its design and decoration. The bathroom was amazing with an enormous rolltop bath as well as a very efficient shower. It was a cosy spot for the two of us and well equipped for a couple.
It only rained occasionally, so we were able to enjoy the glorious view over a coffee outside on the terrace.
We felt spoiled with the choice of possible hot drinks and chocolates placed around (there’s a nespresso machine and cafetière).
The studio was spotlessly clean.
We eat in at nights with the help of the microwave (there are rings to cook on too) only because I was too tired ! But we followed up our hosts’ recommendation of The View at Stalker Castle for a very nice coffee, soup and salad in a great spot down the coast a bit. Really though, loads of places to eat about, including the hotels 20-30 mins walk away via the cycle track. Another reason to return!

We stopped at Glencoe on the way back from the islands.
We stopped at Glencoe on the way back from the islands. As non-climbers, 24 hours was perfect to stop by the visitor centre and take in the views. The vistas are truly stunning and the national trust visitor centre is terrific - we had a lovely coffee there. It’s the most touristy place we visited on our trip, so I was glad our visit was relatively brief—but it really is a must see.

We stayed in Beach House 3 for two nights and it was far too short. Plenty of space with huge picture windows and a well equipped kitchen. The view and the facilities were phenomenal. Hot tub sunsets and then star gazing with dark skies. We could not recommend this enough and we will definitely try to return.

The hotel, its self, is very accessible and there are ample parking spaces.
The surrounding areas of Glencoe - has ample walking 'areas' whether on the flat or for climbing. As far as I am aware, you have to travel for nearest shop for provisions - But we were self sufficient - as I had packed reading material and things for us to do as we were there for relaxation.
Robert and Morag were wonderful hosts with breakfasts made to order and a dinner cooked for us that exceeded our expectations. My husband and I could not say enough about the hospitality offered by this wonderful couple, the beautiful location, and the House itself. Comfortable, welcoming and generous - I took my first bath in years in the deep tub in our bathroom! We explored the Highlands from this location as a part of a 10 day vacation to Scotland. Every recommendation Morag made was spot on. We would return again.
We loved everything about his property. Firstly, the view is perfect and there is space to sit outside and enjoy it. The inside is very well laid out and is very clean and comfortable. The accommodation has a five star hotel feel about it. Quality fittings, great bed, crisp white bedding, great coffee machine, luxury soaps etc, beautiful bath and fab shower and lots of lovely sweet treats. The host met us with the keys and made some recommendations on things to do and restaurants, a very warm welcome.
The location is superb it was just a shame that the weather was so foul! I was kept awake by the wind and rain battering against the bedroom window. The views from the lodge are outstanding on a clear day. We managed to get a glimpse of it in the morning. The lodge was very comfortable and well appointed
with regards cooking and cleaning facilities. The hot tub was excellent managed to get in despite the rain. The staff in the hotel and restaurant were very welcoming and helpful.
The location directly on Loch Linnhe was amazing. Our room overlooked the loch and the view was wonderful. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The overall atmosphere of this historic hotel was very nice. Our room was spacious and comfortable with a large soaking tub. For those that golf, the hotel has a 9 hole golf course free for use. We chose to go hiking with many trials close by. We would definitely stay here again.
A very special hotel, truly a unique experience, as it is a renovated castle / mansion with only 5 huge suites and breakfast / dinner is served directly to your room.
Staff is very friendly and helpful (activities, tips etc)
The view onto the lake and the surrounding gardens are spectacular! Truly a place to come and disconnect, indulge in the beautiful nature around the hotel and enjoy a very special couple of days.
The property is located on the banks of Loch Linnhe, just outside Ballachulish so well positioned between Fort William and Oban for visiting the west coast, both north and south of location.
The hosts are excellent and helpful and suggested lots of things to do and places to visit.
The cycle track across the road is a great way to walk along the loch and to access the Holly Tree hotel (25 minutes) for a great meal.
My wife and I had an excellent stay at the Glencoe Inn. Accommodation was of a high standard and the bar manager, Mark, and his staff were so welcoming and hospitable. We ate in the hotel restaurants every night. The food was delicious and they had a good selection of whiskies! I would highly recommend it.
This is a real "Room with a view". The room was perfect, big enough, the bathroom was very big and the bed was a king size bed and very comfortable. The hotel has a small pool and a jacuzzi which was a perfect addition. But unfortunately, waaaaay too expensive for the options that you have. :(
Refurbished rooms with little touches.
Friendly + welcoming team
Beautiful view of Loch and Pap of Glencoe
Excellent breakfast - delicious options and very tasty, far better quality than more expensive sister hotel Kingshouse.
Excellent pool facilities for kids.

This hotel is exquisite and immaculate!! I can’t say enough about it’s beautiful decor and location BUT the Staff tops even that—so professional, kind, helpful, ready to serve in anyway!!
Great views from the hotel, great bar, and great vibes. Room was very nice and had lots of space and great view. Staff were very nice. Getting local gin really illuminated our stay.
