A wonderful older hotel. There's a small car park at the side for about twelve cars which was handy. Very helpful staff on reception who were happy to let me use the car park as I arrived way too early for check in. Nice decor and a pair of lovely sitting rooms one leading onto the small bar. My room was very large. I had twin beds. The shower wasn't the largest but it worked well. Well stocked with tea and coffee in the room. The hotel is in a great location right next to Devonshire Park the Stage Door pub and a short walk to the seafront. I had a nice cooked breakfast with good service. A very enjoyable stay. I will be back at some point.

The pier is a nice place to visit on a sunny day, as the walk around it is nice. The are many restaurants and cafes to choose from to eat and drink. The town centre has many high street named shops as well as a cinema to catch your favourite film.

I love Eastbourne. The big long beach that you can walk all the way. Love sovereign Harbour, both have great resturants. Good shopping in Eastbourne town. We had a lovely curry near old town and great food in the crown and Anchor. Not forgeting the Bandstand where we saw a fantastic Motown band. Always good acts on there and two bars.!. We thought Eastbourne town was awful and were very sorry we went at all. Even during the day, you could smell drugs in the air and there was fighting in the streets, people racing cars and motorbikes, nearly knocking pedestrians down and even with the constant police presence, we did not feel safe. Never going near the place again!
Located right on the seafront, opposite a beach and easy walk to pier and town centre. Breakfast was excellent, wide choice and served to you at table, not buffet style. The hotel is charming and old fashioned in a nice way. Staff very attentive and polite ,the staff were so friendly and helpful .The restaurant was superb - the quality of the food was amazing and was very reasonably priced. Will definitely be returning. The room was very clean and comfortable , had tea & coffee facilities
Hashem took me to my room and showed me where I needed to go for breakfast. Breakfast was prepared by Nasser and was delicious. My room was comfortable, warm, (freezing and snow outside). A lovely location and a very pretty hotel (listed building) and gardens. I found the hotel and staff lovely, nothing was too much trouble. If I have to travel to the area again, I would definitely stay there as it was much more comfortable than the larger chain hotels.
Chris and Caroline were warm and welcoming and attentive, they had good knowledge of the area and even assisted us in finding places to eat etc. The facilities were modern and clean. The room was spacious and well decorated. The breakfast menu had loads to choose from and was cooked perfectly!! We loved our stay at Ravilious and when we return to Eastbourne we would definitely stay here again!!
Lovely hotel, friendly staff very helpful, breakfast buffet had loads of choice and kept hot +good selection of teas and coffee was good.room was spacious with all the amenities you need.i would definitely stay at the shore view when next in Eastbourne+ it is a short walk from the station through the town center. Thank you to all the staff at the hotel for a lovely stay.

The bar was a lovely area too we were all very happy and thoroughly enjoyed our stay here at West Rocks hotel and will certainly return for another adventure thanks West rocks 🥰 .
The property was in a perfect location for the pier, seafront and town centre. Eastbourne has an amazing seafront. The flat which is on two floors had everything you could need for a break away from home. The WIFI was good, the flat was really warm and the sofa was comfortable. It was very spacious. Also an excellent TV with access to IPlayer via little red.
A wonderful guest house just 50 yards from the seafront. Excellent value for money including a good breakfast. Would recommend the Leopold room (top floor, 4 sets of stairs to go up) king superior room, nice, spacious and very clean. It's not a 4/5 star hotel, but a great value for money base for a few nights in Eastbourne. Super friendly staff.
Seafront so good views from my room which was spotless and comfortable. Good wifi in room. Good selection of restaurants and cafes in next street. Nice walking along front to pier etc or town centre. Hotel room only. Tea and coffee with kettle in room. Very clean throughout. Very good price. Helpful staff and smiles!
The hotel was very clean and the room had a big bed with crisp linen. Lovely powerful shower. Enjoyed the sea view. Good breakfast choices. We visited Eastbourne to watch the tennis and walked there from the hotel along the front. Took about 25 minutes but a pleasant walk. Met the owner of the hotel who was customer friendly.
Great peaceful location and walkable into the centre and to the pier, perfect for exploring Eastbourne and the nearby area! Owners where super friendly and sorted our parking permits very quickly! The loft also had everything you could possibly need as well :) would definitely recommend!
The hotel is in the perfect location, right across from the scenic boardwalk and pier in Eastbourne. Around the corner is the pedestrian walking zone, chock full of restaurants and shops. Even the train station is only about a 7-10 minute walk away.
Staff all very helpful and friendly, lovely comfortable room, high quality cooked breakfast.
Location - is situated ideally between seafront and town.
By far the best accommodation I have used in Eastbourne.
The hotel is, in our opinion, in the perfect location, by the seafront on the West side of Eastbourne. The breakfast was very good. There are extensive lounge areas to sit in. The room facilities were fine.
A lovely old Victorian hotel which was lovely and cosy, excellent staff and fabulous breakfast,
The location is just off the seafront with parking.
Very comfortable bed and clean bathroom.
The property was large and airy and nicely decorated and very clean. The Manager was really friendly and the hotel was in a lovely location, a bit removed ftom the main very busy areas.
The room was a good size with a fantastic sea view. Plenty of choice at breakfast with very helpful staff. Hotel is very centrally located for both the seafront and the town centre
The view was lovely. We enjoyed the breakfast and relaxing in the bar area. The shower was very nice too. Also liked that, for a small fee we could park the car close to the hotel
the toilets stank the room out,,,the staff could barely speak English,,,worst hotel I have ever stayed in,,had a bar that was closed because the staff were living in the bar
