its a wicked place as my daughter moved there with her partner and the grandchildren a few years ago the scenery is out of the world there is mountain bike tracks to use and lots of walking tracks to. you don't have to travel far from chesterfield itself to be in the countryside even travelling to chesterfield the scenery was breath taking its a must visit placeAAnonymous - 10Scored 10
Brilliant location for visiting Chatsworth House and...
Brilliant location for visiting Chatsworth House and Bolsover Castle. Loved the market town vibe and the twisted spire on the church was fascinating. No climbs inside, til the spring and summer though. Some fascinating architecture to see and a brilliantly helpful Tourist Information Office where we got a couple of town walk maps.Welch - 8.0Scored 8.0

Bar is really modern, staff extremely attentive and the service was excellent. Highlight for us however was the restaurant. We ate there both nights of our stay and found it superb. Again staff were fantastic, friendly and very knowledgeable. Food was really high quality and dishes we had were delicious, we wouldn’t hesitate to return.
