Nice town, excellent base if you want to make daily tours in the Hargita/Gyergyo region. The museum in the castle is a pearl: not too big, but extraordinarily rich in content, arranged with heart and utmost skill.

It was lovely seeing a little bit of the town, unfortunately we arrived late and had only a couple of hours there. However we found an amazing pizza place in the centre. Pizza was a great and the house wine too- it's called Renegade Pub & Pizza on Petofi Sandor St. No.3 , Miercure-Ciuc, 530210

The city, even though small, it was beautiful, incredibly clean, both the air and the city itself, and a good relaxing place to travel to to escape the monotony of your home. The people themselves were very friendly and helpful. 10/10, will travel again

A small city in Székely land home to Hungarian and Romanian speaking folks. Surrounded by hills and forests, pleasant in the summer and known to be extremely cold in the winter. Prices were significantly lower than in Bucharest, comfortable for city walks and bicycling. Several nice restaurants. Ideal for one or two days stays on your way to your destination.

In the tourism books, Miercurea cuic used to receive a bad note. So we are surprised in right way : pleasant parcs, fontaines with drinkable water, specific paths for bicycle, pedestrians main street... So pleasant. At least in August.

It is a great hotel, right in the downtown of Miercurea Ciuc. The staff was nice, the rooms were big and with new appliances/furniture. Moreover, breakfast is included. And all this at a good price. Plus, they have their own restaurant, which also deserves 5*
