We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel! Stunning ambiance throughout the entire property. The reception, complete with sparkling wine, set the tone for a great experience. A simple hotel with nice but plain rooms but with a wonderful view of the old town across the canal. The staff were friendly enough and the place was clean. A bit of a walk to the upper floors but not a problem unless you are physically challenged.

Great staff, ready to assist with anything they can. Breakfast was good. Room was clean and roomy, although we were told that we received an upgrade. I wouldn’t even want to think what the original room looked like. Had a few free parking spaces that were available to guests. The balcony was fairly large although the view was not the best due to lots of construction going on around the property and some poorly maintained large “flower beds” in direct view from the balcony. Walking distance to beach was also a positive.
The family-run Hotel Trogir Palace, opened in July 2008, is located on Čiovo Island, only 1312 feet from the center of the beautiful UNESCO-listed town Trogir.
Hotel Sveti Kriz is only 98 feet from the beach, surrounded by pine forests, in the vicinity of the Church of the Holy Cross 1.9 mi from the center of Trogir.

We only stayed one night, before flying back to Uk. I walked from our apartment to the nearest supermarket (approx. 1.3 miles), along a busy road with no pavement on either side of road. The amount of rubbish along the sides of the road was disgusting.
