This is a lovely family run place. Our host was very friendly and welcoming. She spent ample time to explain everything about the place, gave some good tips for not-so-common viewpoints in the park. The apartment was clean spotless and very neat and tidy. The location is not only close to the main entrances of Plitvice National Park, you can also easily access the park from the other side for good viewpoints.
The kitchen is clean & well equipped; all amenities function. Beds were comfortable, the bathroom was clean and equipped, the AC was super, wifi was decent and there is parking on premises if you arrive by car.
Nice place to stay that is quiet but also close to the park, clean, comfortable, wonderful hosts. Can't ask for me. Definitely recommend.
Only 4.3 mi away from the entrance to Plitvice Lakes National Park, Guest House Tone offers a large garden and a covered terrace with a stone barbecue. The beautiful Barac Caves are 5 mi away.

It was very clean, the room was large and there was plenty of hot water for showers. There is a full bathroom in the room and there was also an additional bathroom across the hallway which contained a washing machine and a full bathtub. This came in handy since there were 4 in our travel party. Property is quiet with a nice view of the mountains around. The owners of the property were wonderful.
House Nina is located in the picturesque village of Poljanak, in central Croatia. Just 1.2 mi from the biggest waterfall at Plitvice Lakes National Park, it offers free private parking on site.

It was clean and the owner was very polite and friendly. It is great value for money and very close to Plitvice. It has 2 big rooms and all 6 of us had plenty of room to sleep and rest. It is not the Hilton but for this price it exceeded my expectations.

I think this place for relaxing like our Carpathians in Ukraine. Calm, nature, views and just you (at least in the evening).
I stayed for one night because visited Plitvice lakes. For that trip in my opinion this place not very suitable - 8km from the park. You can get there just by car or taxi. There is no public transport or I don’t know about it.
Although I enjoyed my stay.

Poljanak is on the slope of one part of the mountains that form Plitvice Lakes, up the hill, with few houses (mostly guesthouses too), breathtaking view, nature in its purest. You can walk into Plitvice National Park and do hiking, visiting the lakes or just relaxing in the nature. There are restaurants around Poljanak, and also market. I preffer the quietness, so for me it was a dream staying there. Lovely.

National Park is a Jewel in the crown.
National Park is a Jewel in the crown. The waterfalls and lakes have easy access, well laid out and good choice of easy to difficult walks and a bus service to help get to the higher lakes if you don't want to walk.

The host was really friendly.
The host was really friendly. The location was great and only approx 30min walk from the back entrance of Plitvice lakes with some fantastic view points along the way. Initially we had some difficulty finding this. The usual entrances to the park are Entrances 1 & 2, where you can buy tickets. There is a third entrance, where you can enter if you already have tickets but cannot buy new tickets. If you are in the national park and trying to get to the accommodation then you need to take a road up from the P3 check point, there is a signpost to Polijanak near the P3 checkpoint. We bought a two day pass at the park and stayed here one night. This meant we could enjoy all the park without it being rushed. The accommodation had good facilities, the kitchen was well equipped for us to make our own dinner and overall it was very spacious.
We couldn’t find a shop nearby, after a long walk around the park it would’ve been nice to grab a beer! Luckily we had brought food with us for lunches and dinner. The accommodation does offer dinner and breakfast but we didn’t try this.
The location is perfect for those who love nature and are looking for a quiet and peaceful place. The rooms are clean and cosy (just recommend bringing your own hygiene stuff). Host Katarina is a lovely woman, she is really nice, friendly, helpful and hospitable. Gave us some goodies and good advices.
Definitely worth the money and highly recommend it to stay if you are coming to visit Plitvice Lakes National Park.
Thank you for your hospitality.
Everything was totally okay, extremely nice owners, spacious and comfortable bed. Plitvice Lakes can be reached within 12 minutes with car. There is a cute restaurant 1 minute from the house, very nice food and staff as well. Stayed for one night, going back for more in the future.:)
Milka is lovely, warm, and welcoming-especially to children. My kids loved her sweet cats. Kitchen was well stocked, and the beds were very comfortable. It's also a good location looking down into the Plitvice Valley. Quiet at night with a nice restaurant 30 m down the road.

A comfortable stay for exploring the waterfalls. It's not a luxury one but has everything you need. There is a kitchen at your disposal as well. The Plitvice lakes are 10 mins away by car. The property has an excellent value/money ratio.
The host, Renato, was wonderful. Excellent communication, very friendly and welcoming. Went above and beyond to make sure we had a nice stay. The location to Plitvice lakes was excellent. Really enjoyed our stay here.
Amazing views!! Comfortable bed and wonderful host. Nice little puppy that visited with on the patio as well. The location was close to Plitvice, which made it very easy to get to the park by the time it opened.
Great location for visiting Plitvice lakes! A quiet and beautiful house, comfortable beds and spacious rooms! The breakfast was more than delicious and the hosts were very friendly and helpful!
Very nice and cozy little property close to Plitvice with parking. The lady who owns it was very kind and helpful - she showed us where to go to see an above view of the falls. Updated rooms.
Walking distance to Plitvice lakes park entrance. Very friendly host, she was waiting for us till late night. Fully equipped kitchen. Beautiful garden with hammocks. We didn't want to leave.
