The apartment is located in a quiet and peaceful area up on the hill. A quite steep, narrow and curvy road leads to it from the town, but one gets used to it after a few trips driving up and down. There is a stunning view from the hill down to the valley and to the surrounding mountains. The apartment is quite big, comfortable and clean, enough to accommodate 6 adults. It is very well equipped. The hosts are exceptionally friendly and helpful. We had a little accident and they did everything they could to assist us.

Cerkno is a small town placed in the beautiful Slovenian mountains where there is always something new to explore, filled with amazing people always ready to help tourist feel welcomed and breathtaking views everywhere you look. The ski center is well structured and adapt to beginners, it's worth to check it out if you want to relax and enjoy sports or just the beauty of the nature!

Brilliant central location for exploring the beautiful...
Brilliant central location for exploring the beautiful natural park, lakes, towns and main attractions, easily within a 1 hour day trip. Even just driving through this whole area is sheer delight with gorgeous vistas at every turn. High mountain peaks, lovely little cottages with flower boxes and fruit trees dotted across the rolling hills. The roads winding beside crystal clear milky blue waterways with stone bridges, a true fairytale location and photographic heaven!

It is imposible to get there with public transportation and there are no supermarkets close by, but if you want to relax and to get in touch in nature this is the perfect option for you. the Jacuzzi and the Sauna are definitely a highlight. The kitchen is big, comfortable and well equipped. Communication with the host was always very easy and fast. We had no problems at all.EshuisGermany

The large terasse is perfect to sit outside in sunny days or during heavy rains. The surrounding area is very quiet such that deers are comming on the former sky slope (behind the house) for grass during breakfast time and in the afternoon. A sleeping area in attic was a bit hot but you can expect it in a hot weather. We stayed in a cabin next to the main house and it was absolutely quiet and private. We used the house as a base camp for trips around and both to Ljubljana and Bohinj and Bled area.
