Excellent place for exploration of nearby mountains.
Excellent place for exploration of nearby mountains. I choose it for hiking and found many trails. Unfortunately it was heavy snow at the end of September so I recommend summer for hiking around Malbun. Nature around is great!

I visited in August and the weather was perfect for hiking. Not alot of tourist so there was no waiting in lines. The ski lifts were working to take you up the mountain for great views and hiking. This was my 2nd time to visit Malbun and would go back again.
The spa at Hotel Turna was wonderful, especially after a day of hiking.

This place is pretty magical.
This place is pretty magical. We only spent a night as our main travel plans were in Germany and Switzerland, but you could easily spend 2-3 nights here depending on how much you want to hike and if you have good weather.

Malbun is a quiet and cozy small ski resort in Liechtenstein with three modern chair lifts and a beginners T-Bar lift. There is no nightlife or any significant apres-ski but there is a good wine bar under the oldest hotel in town. Many chalets. There is an ice rink at the entrance of the village.

Malbun is a tiny village surrounded by amazing mountains
Malbun is a tiny village surrounded by amazing mountains
They have great hiking tracks which are very well maintained.
Very nice traditional restaurants can be found both in the village as well as on the top of the mountains.
Had booked this hotel for the superb views. Sadly, heavy rain and low clouds concealed the true beauty of the area but occasional glimpses were enough to tempt us back one day.
Opted for the half board option - a good choice. Food in the evening (4 course) was excellent and staff were very attentive.
Room was quite simply - perfect. Large - well-appointed and very comfortable.
Ample parking outside. Well worth the visit but remember to bring a plug adapter for Swiss / Liechtenstein sockets. They are not the same as European ones.
Hotel TURNA provides customers with a unique experience, right in the heart of Malbun village. It is a perfect place for a stay, especially in winter when all the surroundings are covered in snow and you can see it all from your room! Staff was extremely attentive and friendly. Breakfast was delicious, full of variety. The pool and sauna are great add-ons to the overall experience. We stayed there for 1 night but it could easily have been for 5 nights as this is a very pleasant hotel to stay.
The hotel is amazingly well looked after; it’s like it was built this year - very thing feels modern and new and well thought out. The rooms (Zimmer), Sauna and restaurants make great use of the mountain views will large open windows. the breakfast selection is huge; but mostly the staff are very welcoming. The chef is personal and font-of-house weren’t bothered that I booked the wrong day and didn’t show up (my fault), but handled exceptionally. We’ll be back in the ski season for sure!
The staff are so helpful.
There’s bus directly from Vaduz to the doorstep from the hotel, last bus runs till 2200.
Room are spacious, clean and cozy.
The nearby mountain view and night sky are spectacular.
It cost only CHF 19 per pax for breakfast, which is quite reasonable price given that there has no restaurants provide breakfast nearby, and the quality worth the price.
Clean, the room was comfortable, the breakfast was nice.
But the receptionist ( lady with short blond hair) was not friendly. She look down when we greet and didnt react. Just rude.
The hotel time for check out was 10am , too early. We didint know so we was on a rush
The check in time was 4pm too long from normal hotel.☹️
Nice, typical alpine hotel as you would expect to see in so many ski villages. Nice big room, efficient personnel, reasonable food in the restaurant (dinner) and good choice at breakfast buffet. The pastries are phenomenal. If you are on a budget, skip the so-so main courses and starters and go for a dessert-only-dinner:)
Everything was great. The rooms and facilities were clean, the hotel is pet friendly - we were travelling with a dog. The staff is polite and unobtrusive. The view is stunning. The cow bells ringing from the mountain pastures add a nice touch to the overall grandeur of the landscape.
It was absolutely fantastic. Great restaurant for both breakfast (included) and dinner, friendly stuff. I got the room that much exceeded my expectations for a single room - super spacious, with big balcony. A nice touch is fruits available all over the hotel for free.
The breakfast was very good, and the staff were all very kind. They all spoke English very well even though we were prepared with our basic German skills. We were here to go on a hike nearby, and the hotel was right next to the trailhead. Great experience!
The view was unique. The fresh air breath was fantastic. I would stay here one more night if I have time. The road to this hotel is amazing and beautiful but be prepared to drive by narrow serpentine road upwards 20-15 min.
Great accomodation with modern rooms and bathroom. Breakfast is excellent, and very good value for money. The ski lift is directly accessible by ski/snowboard from the hotel. The host is super nice.
Stunning location. Beautiful clean hotel with lovely comfortable rooms. Staff went above and beyond in terms of helpfulness. We want to come back for a longer stay! Would very much recommend.
The person that checked us in was wonderful, breakfast was great and everything was clean but most of all the hotel was exactly as we imagined an alpine hotel and the location was great.
Beautiful hotel surrounded by amazing scenery. The food at the restaurant was exceptional, the staff was beyond friendly, the amenities offered were great, definitely a lovely place!
